[Lily's POV]

"Damn it!" I muttered, I had forgotten my scarf again, and it was freezing outside. I was on my way down to Hogsmead, to buy a transfiguration book (my best friend had somehow succeed to transfigure my book into a rat without knowing how, and nobody was able change it back, no, not even the teacher).

I had to do it quickly, because I didn't have a permission to walk away from the school grounds. It was in the middle of the winter as I walked in the meter deep snow.

When I got down to the village did I quickly get into the bookshop and bought the transfiguration book, luckily the shop assistant didn't ask any questions. Then I headed to the castle again. Suddenly I heard somebody say;

"Well, what do we have here?" I spun around, just to see Scorpius Malfoy who nonchalantly leaned against a lamp-post. His blond hair was a little messier than usual.

"Malfoy." I said.

"Got to Hogsmead without permission, huh, Potter?" I just glared at him. "You seem to be cold..." He couldn't actually care? Could he? He looked me in the eyes, his ice-blue into my hazel-brown. He slowly untied up his scarf and took it off.

"What are you..?" I started, as he put it around my neck. He didn't answer, he just tied it, it felt warm against my skin. He leaned towards me, and I could feel the warmth from him, and for one brief second his lips touched mine.

He leaned back and started to walk away. After two steps he looked back and winked to me, before he looked forward and started to walk towards the Honeydukes, with his hands in his pockets. I just stood there a few seconds completely chocked over what just happened, and then walked up to the castle.
The scarf smelled like vanilla, and something I couldn't place, something sweet, maybe chocolate. I took several deep breaths, just to remember it. When I got into the castle I was met by my best friend Lizbeth Smith. "Lily, why in hell do you wear a Slytherin-scarf!"

[Scorpius' POV]

I saw when she walked out from the school grounds, her long red hair lifted in the wind. I realised that she was on her way down to Hogsmead, so I followed her, careful so she wouldn't see me. She got into a book-store and bought a transfiguration book. I walked a bit and leaned against a lamp-spot, waiting for her to show up.

"Well, what do we have here?" I asked when she didn't spot me and she spun around.

"Malfoy" she said, and I got a bit disappointed over the fact that she didn't say my first name, I always wanted to hear my name from her lips.

"Got to Hogsmead without permission, huh, Potter?" All I wanted to do was to say her first name, it felt... wrong to use her last name. She glared at me. First now I realized that she didn't have a scarf. "You seem to be cold.." I said, and looked into her beautiful hazel-brown eyes.

Then started to untie up my own scarf, I would give it to her as a gentleman.

"What are you..?" she started, when I put it around her neck. I didn't answer, i just tied it. I leaned closer to her, and before I could stop myself, I kissed her. It just lasted in a brief second, she looked shocked as I leaned back, and started to walk away.
After two steps I looked back and winked to her, before I walked towards Honeydukes, my hands in my pockets and with a smile playing on my lips.
