Chapter 1: Ma's Secret

Rosanna White, an 18 year old girl from England, is on her way to her beloved grandmother, Mary Evans. She got a text message from her the other day, asking if she wanted to swing by. She replied that she'd gladly visit and that she'd bring her younger sister, Evelyn, with her.
I can't wait to ask Ma more about Chinese culture, she thought to herself.
Rosanna has always had an obsession with everything from China. Everything from modern to ancient. Her greatest interest is the mythology however. She completely adores Chang'e and Hou Yi. She also loves romance, which just adds to her love of those two.
Hou Yi, she simply thought to herself.
There was something about him that just made her think his name over and over again. It's almost as if she's become a bit too obsessed... What the hell am I saying? She is too obsessed!

Evelyn White walked next to her big sister. She wasn't in a very good mode for the moment. The reason for that was simple. She had been in school yesterday and she got bullied in class again. Evelyn sighed and looked at Rosanna. She wanted to tell her how much she wanted to kill her classmates but didn't say anything tho. she didn't know how she would react. Evelyn took a stronger grip of her diary.
The Diary she had with her was light blue and with dark blue hearts on it. The Dairy is what she calls a " True friend" because everything she writes in there is the true events that had happened to her.
"Rose are we there yet?" She simply asked with a tired voice.

Rosanna turned her head and looked at Evelyn.
"Soon." She murmured. "It's just a turn to the right then..."
She stopped talking as she noticed a boy some feet away. It was Trevor, her boyfriend.
"Trev!" She shouted with joy in her voice.
Trevor looked up and saw her. He smiled. However, it wasn't a happy smile. It was more of a "I'm in pain" or "I'm sorry" smile.
"What are you doing here?" Rosanna asked once she'd reached him.
Trevor's smile disappeared. For some reason he had this kind of strange sorrow in his eyes. It made Rosanna worried.
"Trev?" She said. "What is it?"
"I'm sorry, Rose." Trevor replied. "I really am."
"Sorry for what?" The worry within Rosanna grew larger and larger.
Trevor sighed heavily before speaking again.
"It's over." He said. "We're over."
"W-what?" Rosanna stuttered.

Evelyn glared at Trevor with an angry face.
She started to wonder why Trevor whould break up with Rosanna. So Evelyn started to talk without even thinking.
" you dare break up with My sister? For what reasson? Is it a new girl huh? Or what?! And I hope you have a good answer or I will..I will..." Evelyn realised that she had been yelling. So she stoped herself from continuing her sentance.

Rosanna and Trevor stared at Evelyn. Neither really knew what to say at first. Then Trevor spoke...
"Don't get so upset." He said. "Sometimes some relationships just doesn't work."
Rosanna had gotten tears in her eyes, waiting for the right moment to pour out.
"Rose..." Trevor continued. "I'm going to be honest with you."
"Okay..." Rosanna mumbled with an unsteady voice.
"You know Allison? In your class?" Trevor asked. "She confessed to me yesterday, and I have actually had a crush on her way before I began dating you..."
Rosanna just gasped. She felt utterly betrayed. She had been in such a good mood today... Now it had been ruined.

Evelyn started to think for a while. who is Allison she started to wonder.
She took up her Diary and her pen.
" Excuse me but what is her surname?" Evelyn asked. She tried to have her most innocent smile she could do.
Evelyn sometimes could have some angry issues and she loves to seek revenge on people that she feel is guilty of something. However she is often stopped before she even have a chance to start her plan.

Trevor stared at Evelyn again.
"Ask your sister." He said before turning to Rosanna. "I must be off. I just came here to tell you, Rose."
Rosanna nodded. She was on the very edge of crying, but she didn't wanna do it in front of Trevor.
"Bye." She said with a shaky voice.
"Bye." Trevor replied before running away.
Once he was out of sight, Rosanna fell to the ground, tears pouring from her eyes. She remember how happy she had been the day he had asked her out. He had told her how beautiful she was and she had replied by telling him that she had been having a crush on him for years.
He never told her he loved her though. She hadn't even noticed. She had been so devoured by happiness that she couldn't see that she actually meant nothing to him. Poor thing.

Evelyn looked at her sister. She hated to see her cry but knew there was nothing she could do about it. She putted her hand on Rosanna's shoulder.
"I'm sorry Rose I wished I could do something." said Evelyn .even she had started to cry.
