Chapter 1: Awake.

The 29th of July 4050, a beautiful hybrid between human and wolf gave birth to what was about to be the first hybrid between human, wolf and angel. That very first hybrid between human, wolf and angel... is me.
My name is Teagan. I'd like to say that of the three different races I hail from, I think of myself mostly as a wolf.
Some nights, when I can't sleep, I go outside and lie down on the green grass, staring at the stars as they shimmer above me.
I love the night. Several times, I've wished that the sun would never appear again.
Sun...
For some reason I always think of my mother, Audrey, when I think of the sun. I remember her having golden hair, yellow eyes and always wearing a beautiful dress. I have no memories om my father though. Mother told me he had to leave before I was born. She made it sound like he was a nice man who had to leave against his will. However, there's a part of me who doesn't want to believe that. I rather believe that he was a douche so I'm glad I never met him than to know that he was a kind man that would have been a great father.
I don't like the pain. So I've managed to convince myself that he was a heavy drinker that smelled like piss.

I let out a long, tired sigh.
The year is 4077 and there's still no sign of Vanessa. Everybody gave up on her ever returning several years ago, but that doesn't change that fact that we still haven't found her body. I want a closure, you know? To be able to bury her and have a proper funeral.
As I roll over to the right, I notice how the moonlight lights up a nearby tree. One of the trees that Vexy, Vanessa and I used to climb in. Well, we tried to climb, but then it got boring so we flew up instead.
Ah, the memories...

I was born the 11th June 4051 My Dad is a scientist and my mom was a singer. we where a normal Elf family. It was perfect well almost Perfect.Dad needed a test subject to see if his experiment worked. However the Experiment was not working as planed and well I got wings...Dragonfly wings. At first I freaked out. I was looking so weird but after some time I started to like my wings.Even if I looked weird My life was good. Until one day in the year 4057. my mother got sick she couldn't eat or drink .Her movements where slow and she had almost lost her voice The doctors said I didn't need to worry and it was going to be fine. I believed them Because they where experts after all. I decided to go and play with my best friends Vanessa and Teagan. we had a good time until the bad news.
My dad was Standing nearby and he was crying.
I decided to walk up to him but before I could say anything he hugged me. He told me that mom was dead. I couldn't believe it The doctor's had told me that everything was going to be fine.
I got loss from my dad's hug and ran towards the hospital. I ran to my mothers hospital bed and what dad had said was true. I was crying that day and I refused to leave I was sitting there in 2 hours just crying. After that I couldn't smile or laugh in days. but some years later when I Finally started to be happy again Vanessa disapered. I Refused to lose her too but nobody find her. Now I only have two people that is important too me Its my dad and Teagan my best friend. I will never let them die away from me.

I looked out through the window looking at the stars. So many of them and so beautiful looking. With a sleepy yawn I fell Asleep on my bed And starting to Have a dream About me Vanessa And Teagan all together and all happy.
