Hermione is using a portkey, when something goes totally wrong... Her spell was incorrect, and she ends up going to diffrent universe! There, she meets the hobbit Bilbo Baggins, who tries to help her the best he can.
But how will she get home?

Chapter 1
Hermione sat on her bed, practising the portkey spell. She held one of her books in her hand, trying to pronounce the complicated words right.
"Come on! Why isn´t this working?!" she said, trying to focus, but her frustrasion made it hard. She said the spell one more time, but nothing happend. Again.
"Come on!" she thought, "Come on Hermione you can do this!" She pronounced the spell one more time... And this time something finally happend! The shoe (she used one of her old shoes as a portkey) started to glow blue, and then it went back to normal.
"Yes I did it!" she thought "So if I made the spell right, wich I´m sure I did, this portkey should take me to Diagon alley. But should I really use it? Maybe my spell wasn´t right..." But a little voice in her head said:
"Of course the spell is right! I mean you´re the best student at Hogwarts! And now when you finally managed to make the spell correct, it would be a shame not to try it!" And then she put her finger on the shoe.
Her finger immidetly got sticked to the shoe and her feet left her bedroom floor.
"It´s working!" Hermione thought. "Now I´m gonna land safe in Diagon alley, and then..."
Her feet hit the ground.

She opened her eyes and saw blue sky and green grass. "This can´t be Diagon alley..." she thought to herself. She stood up, and looked around. It looked like she had landed in some kind of village. There where a lot of hills everywhere, and small houses, or well it looked more like holes. Becsause the houses where going into the hills, like tunnels. Well she didn´t really know, because she could only see the doors. She had landed in front of a very fancy house, with a green round door, and a cute little garden and a bench infront of it. But no matter how cute it was, Hermione didn't have time to think of that. The only thoughts she had in her brain was:
"Where am I?!" and "How am I gonna get home?!" Apparently the portkey spell didn't work out, so now she had no idéa how she was gonna get home, she didn't even know where she was!
"Hello?" She turned around, and saw that the green round door had been opened, and that in the doorway a very short man (about half of a normal persons lenght) with very big hairy feet, dressed in a white shirt and brown big pants with braces stood. "Can I help you?"
"Yes please." She said, "My name is Hermione Granger, and I would like to know where I am."
"I'm the hobbit Bilbo Baggins," the short man answered, "and we're right now in Hobbiton in the Shire." Bilbo seemed a little confused that she didn't know where they were. But he was a polite hobbit, so he didn't say anything.
"Hobbiton? The Shire?" Hermione said, "I've never heard of a place called that! And what's a hobbit?"
"Where are you from?" Bilbo asked, even more confused, who was this girl?
"I'm from England, and I go to Hogwarts school for witchcraft and wizardry-"
"Witchcraft?!" Bilbo said, "Did you get a punch in the head or something? You seem pretty dizzy... Come in and have a cup of tea, then I can help you find you way to... Whereever you're going." Hermione was to shocked to disagree, and followed Bilbo into his house

Chapter 2
Bilbo closed the round green door behind them, and then he looked at her.
"So," he said, "what flavour would you like?"
"What?" Hermione answeared.
"On your tea." Bilbo said, and smiled.
"Oh, I´ll just have what you take."she said, and Bilbo nodded,
"You can take of your shoes and follow me into the kitchen."
"O-okay." Hermione said, and took of her shoes (Bilbo didn´t wear any), and then she followed Bilbo into the kitchen. She was right, the house kind of looked like a hole. It was just a long tunnel, with all rooms on the same floor. Yeah, practicly in the same hall. But it was not a discusting hole full with spiders of something, it was a nice and pretty little house, with just enough space in it. They got into the kitchen, and Bilbo picked up two cups from the sink, and put them on the table.
"Sit down please." bilbo said, and smiled again. Hermione sat down but didn´t smile back, she was to scared.
"So," she said, when the tea was done and Bilbo had poured it into her cup. "where are we?"
"I just told you that, didn´t I?" Bilbo said, a little confused. "We´re in the land The Shire, and in the village Hobbiton."
"Okay," hermione said, still not beliving him. "it´s just that... I´ve never heard of any of these places!" She bit her lip, and they were quiet for a moment, but then Bilbo said:
"So your one of the big people right?"
"What does that mean?" Hermione asked confused. "The big people?"
"Like are you one of the humans?" Bilbo explained.
"Of course I am!" Hermione answeared. "Aren´t you?!"
"I´m sorry, but as i have already explained, I am a hobbit."
"What´s a hobbit?" Hermione asked. Bilbo just looked at her.
"Seriously, you don´t even know what a hobbit is?!"
"No, I´m not from here."
"Then how did you get here?" Bilbo asked, VERY confused.
"Well," Hermione said, and started to explain it all. "I was practising the portkey spell, and then-"
"A portkey, what´s that?" Bilbo asked.
"It´s like when a wizard or witch-"
"I´m sorry," Bilbo said, "but things such as witches or wizards do not exist, I´m sure your just dizzy-"
"Okay," Hermione said, and looked angry into Bilbos eyes. "then how do you explain this?" She took out her wand.
"Orisone!" she said, and big flowers spurted out of her wand, and landed all over the floor. Bilbo was stunned, he couldn´t say a word.
"Or this? Oblivate!" she yelled, and a big beam of water soaked the floor, and then she quickly dryed it away with another spell.
"How..." Bilbo finally said, "HOW did you do that?!"
"As I said," Hermione said, and put her wand back in her pocket. "I am a witch, and actually a kind of talanted one, if you ask me."
"Y-you won´t hurt me right?" Bilbo said, and he actually seemed kind of scared.
"Of course not!" she answeared "And if would have wanted to, i would have done it a looong time ago. I mean, not to be rude, but you´re a really easy match for me." Bilbo nodded. And then he said:
"Okay the witch Hermione Granger. Then, I am gonna help you find you´re way home."

Hermione looked at him, was he serious?
"Okay, thank you then... Bilbo." she smiled at him. "And well, I guess you wanna know how I got here?" Bilbo nodded.
"Yeah i actually do."
"So it´s like this, in my world, not everyone are wizards or witches. Only a few of us, and the ones who are not magical is called muggles. And non of the muggles know about us, excepte the ones who have a wizard or witch in their family. You get it?" Bilbo nodded again.
"I think so."
"And we use something called a portkey, that moves us to another place. So we take an ordinary object, like an old shoe or something, and use the portkey spell on the object, and then we can use the it as a portkey."
"Okay." Bilbo tried to stay calm, even if he found it hard to belive all this stuff.
"Then, the only thing we have to do, is to put a hand on the choosen object, and then it´ll take us away to the place we choose when we made the portkey. And my portkey spell was... Well, incorrect. And instead of landing in Diagon alley," Bilbo gave her a weird look. "Oh it´s like the place where you can buy wands, books and stuff. Anyway, so I ended up here instead. And this may sound crazy, but i think I´ve comed to another dimension. Because in my dimension, there is no such things as hobbits. Do you have a phone?"
"A what?"
"A phone, then maybe I can call home."
"I´m sorry miss Granger but I have no idéa of what a phone is, is it something that wizards and witches use?"
"No. Hermione said,"It´s actually something that all of the muggles use! So you´ve never seen a phone?"
"No I don´t think so." Biblo said, smiling a litte.
"It´s like a little box witch numbers on, and if you tap the right numbers, you can talk with anyone in the little box. Never heard of it?" Bilbo looked even more confused and impressed.
"Can you talk to anyone? HOW?!" Hermione sighted,
"Just forget about it. So, you don´t have any kind of electricity here?"
"What´s electricity?" Maybe I have gone back in time? Hermione thought to her self, but she new that was impossible.
"Oh, it´s... It´s complicated." Bilbo nodded, and took a sip out of his tea cup. Hermione, who had almost forgot about her tea, took one too. They where quiet for a bit. And then bILBO SAID:
"So, do you think you can make a new portkey and go home?"
"I don´t know." Hermione said. "My spell is not corecct, and I´m afraid that I´ll mess up again. And end up in an even weirder place... No offense, I just don´t know this place." Bilbo nodded.
"Miss Granger," he said.
"Oh just call me Hermione."
"Okay then, Hermione. I think I have an idéa."
