The Place Where I belong [ENG]

Jag skrev ihop det här i aprill 2012.

Det är min version av filmscenen när Voldemort kramar Draco.


Draco's Pov

You could feel the excitement in the air. Everyone was waiting for me to go over to Voldemort's side. But it wasn't what my heart told to me to do. My heart told me to be as brave and strong as Potter.

Why did I actually hate him, I hate to say it but, I've always been jealous. I mean, I want friends who could stand up for me, who never would leave because they were scared, who would give me courage when I'm scared, friends like his. I always thought that I hated muggleborns, but when I think about it, they are better and braver than me. They would never hate anyone because of who there parents were, Harry don't, Hermione don't, Weasley does. He hated me because of my father, and I hated him because of his. A muggleborn would never even think about being a deatheater. I thought it would give me pride, I was wrong, it means I'm hated.

When I was a kid, I dreamed about riding dragons and hippogriffs. Why did I say that that hippogriff injured me, I did exactly what Hagrid told us not to. I insulted him, that's the only thing I can do, making someone sad. But I am going to change.

I looked around me, my school was in ruin. How many times had I wished that I could come to Hogwarts again and be the strong and brave one?

My dad was one of them who destroyed my sanctuary, he's going to pay for it.

I took a deep breath and looked up at Voldemort.

''I will stay here, in the light, the place where I belong.''
