He kissed Odette goodbye and watched her leave. When she couldn't see him anymore, he went through the pillar, expecting to be met by the scarlet train. Instead he was greeted by a pointy, pale face.
"Hello, James." Draco said with a mean smile. James sighed as his eyes quickly went from Crabbe to Goyle, then to Malfoy. "Did you kiss your filthy muggle girlfriend goodbye? You don't need to abswer, I can smell it from here." the duo behind him laughed stupidly. "You should wash that stench from your face. Here, let me help you." James pretended to scratch the top of his hand, when he actually took a tight grip of the wand hidden inside his sleeve. "Aguamenti!" before he'd even finished the spell, James had drawn his wand, and the same time thought 'Protego', and the stream of water bounced right at Goyle. He flicked his wand again to de-activate the barrier.
"Don't you dare, you twitchy little ferret." ´he spit at Malfoy.
"How dare you? Wait until my father hears about this!" James pressed his wand against Draco's throat.
"Your father, that you're so proud of," he said with a low, hateful voice, staring right into Malfoy's grey eyes. "killed my family, burned their house down with fiendfire. The dementors make me hear their screams of pain. If that happened to you, I'm sure you wouldn't want the child to go around bragging about it." for a moment he saw something that looked like compassion in Malfoy's eyes, but the next his eyes were as filled with hate as James'.
"Piss off, you muggle-lover. I bet your parents were as filthy as you. I bet they had it coming." he grinned. James pressed his lips together by the rage that was building up inside him. He pretended to leave. "That's it, you cowardly little Hufflepuff!" he screamed. James turned on the spot, flicking his wand once more. Draco was thrown in the air, and just as he was about to land, James flicked the wand in an upwards movement, and Draco hanged upside-down in the air.
"That's enough! Get on the train or get lost!" the driver said. "We're leaving in ten minutes."
