New generation benders

Herkio nodded. "Sounds good, only bad thing is that you can't travel everywhere with boat". If there was sea everywhere he would do it. But you could do it with a flying bison. He sighed and got out of the water and laid down beside the snowman. He would have to be up on that flying beast again.
"I know" he just said an smiled when it got a face. He then starred up to the sky, it was deep blue and not a cloud could be seen. "What about we go back to the inn, the others are waiting for us".

"With Ryuu in the team they're probably running around town right now looking for us." She replied with a nod to him and looked up to the sky.
"No, Ryuu is behind you two lovebirds." Shu jumped up and met Ryuu who was behind them. "I think I lost the other two though." He said and looked around him. "Hey, don't glare like that. It was a joke!" He said and backed up when he noticed Elas extremely angry glare. "Not the 'I lost the other two'-part... I did that." He continued and kept looking around as if they were going to pop up.

Herkio laughed a little and was about to say something more when he heard Ryuu. He quickly got up and starred at him, actually blushing a bit. He was awkward when it come to girls mostly. He had never had a real girlfriend. So his vomment made him embarrased.
""Well great, we have to find them so we can continue". He got up and looked at the snowman. He made it from snow to ice so it would take longer before it melted. "Did you yake our stuff or did you leave it at the inn?".

"Pema has all of the things... hey, maybe they're with Pema!" Ryuu said happily and turned around instantly to the east to start walking without a second thought.
"Hold up, so you haven't checked out the place where you left your own things?" Ela said trying to get her mind off his comment. She had been... buzzy with certain matters and wasn't allowed to... date. Was it called that? Probably. Other people in her tribe got married and such and she was always there throwing some spiritual blessing in their face.
"Well, I lost them after that so... no." He replied laughing nervously. "I want to be able to rocketfeet and fly around right now." He continued and seemed extremely saddened by this. His fault for being a lightning-bender.

Herkio thought about it, he had never had a real girlfriend, and never really liked anybody in his village. All the girls there was boring, their lifes was just staying at the southern tribe, get married, have kids and then die. He wanted to travel around the world. He wanted someone that could travel with him.
"Yeah, they probably with Pema" he said and started to walk after Ryuu. They needed to travel, before Bipins masters got to them. Or maybe they had lost track of them. Hopefully they had done that.

As they walked through town they kept walking by several destroyed stands... buildings... vehicles. Did the spirits destroy all this? Ela wondered what would've made a spirit this angry. Suddenly she heard some to call out their names.
"Ryuu, Herkio, Ela! Over here!" She heard the energetic voice of Hye who was waving like a maniac by a street corner. She turned her head and shouted something else... maybe to Pema and Bipin. Ryuu hurried his steps and Ela followed his example. As they rounded the corner they saw... firstly Ela noticed the large flying bison in the sky which was flying up and down with Bipin on her back. Right after she noticed the huge smashed up building.
"Wooaah..." She said and stopped in her steps. Was this... the spirit? Hye landed a few meters away.
"Look! A spirit did that last night!" She said superexcited and pointed at the building. "They say it's huge!" She continued before flying up in the air again.

Herkio just watched around them as they walked. Everything was so destroyed, even homes. He saw one family that was trying to find their belongings in the ruins of their house. Why would spirits do this?
He was about to say something when he heard Hye's voice. He turned his head and saw her. Soon they got to her and he could see Bipin and Pema as well. "What made it do this?" he asked and looked at the building. "We don't know..It has come the last weeks" a tired voice said from behind. He turned around and faced an old man. "Please, I see that you're benders. Can you help us with fixing our homes? Or atleast clean up this mess?".

Bipin came down to the ground as Ela was about to snap at the old man. Help them? There's no helping when the spirit will just come back again!
"The spirit will just come back and destroy it all over again." Bipin said as he jumped down from Pema. "We need to find a way to deal with the spirit." He continued and crossed his arms. The old man smiled and shook his head.
"We've tried already, we can't defeat it." He replied and was about to walk away.
"Well, old man, you can't defeat a spirit you need to calm it down." She replied and the man turned back around and she glared at him. "Spirits needs to be purified and calmed down not bloody defeated, they're not some army or dictator. They are part of this world and form around the environment." She continued and the man snorted loudly.
"The finest spiritual leaders in this town have tried." He replied and walked off.
"Why did you have to be so mean?" Hye asked and Ela turned around to her with crossed arms.
"Whatever." She said simply.

Herkio was about to say that they could help him. They could atleast help with moving some of the heavy pieces that laid scattered around the buildings. But he quickly became silent when the others said no. But couldn't they help with the spirit then? Wasn't it a part of the avatars job to help people? Wasn't this really the reason for him going out in the world? Besides learning the other elements.
"Well" he said when the man was gone and turned to the others. "Even if he wasn't so nice I think we can help them, I mean, isn't this our job now? To help Bipin to help people?". He then turned to Ela. "You seem to be able to see them easily, do you have any idea where the spirit is?".

"It's pissed off, you don't need to be able to see them easily. It's probably in hiding, I bet it's a waterspirit from the lake that harnesses the energy of the moon." Ela said and shrugged slightly.
"How do you know so much?" Bipin asked and Ela looked at him, looked up at the sky, looked at the building.
"I've been traveling for a year, when you see these things everywhere you learn the patterns." She said and acted nonchalant and shrugged again.
"So... it won't show up again until tonight?" Ryuu asked confused.
"Well, yes. It's probably going to be stronger too. There's a full moon tonight." Ela said and shrugged... for the third time. "I don't know for sure." She continued just as nonchalant as before.
