A Taste Of Blood (PRS)

Taereen kept looking up.
"I'm sorry..." He said quietly. "Did I scare you over at Marcel's place?"
He sounded so gentle and caring as he spoke.

" a little I guess." said Abigail calmly. She started to smile faintly. "even if you where scary... I'm glad that you showed up when you did. It might had ended differently if you didn't" said Abigail, She wasn't scared of Taereen anymore.

Taereen's grip of Abigail's hand tightened.
"Do you know why I turned you?" He suddenly asked, changing subject completely.
He was still avoiding eye contact with the girl next to him.

Abigail became silent for a while.
"no not really" Abigail said after she was done thinking. "should I know?"

Taereen glanced over at Abigail as the water continued to soak them both down.
"When I saw you I intended on killing you..." He mumbled quietly. "I ran up to you, ready to suck your life out but something stopped me."
He changed position so he stood in front of the girl instead, staring into her eyes.
"I couldn't let you go in fear of you telling the humans about your experience, but I didn't want you to die either..." He said with a gentle voice. "So I turned you because..."
He paused. Then he looked down at the water.
"Because I fell in love with you..." He then whispered.

Abigail got surprised, She tried to process everything she just heard. "you..fell in love ..with me?"Abigail said quietly while looking at Taereen. "why me... why would you fell in love with someone like me?" Abigail paused for some secounds. "I'm just plain and boring aren't I?"

Taereen didn't respond immediately. He instead frowned as he thought of what to say.
"Boring?" He then said. "Plain?"
He shook his head and looked up at Abigail.
"You're the most interesting person I've met since before I turned." He explained. "And I love you..."

Abigail started to blush. She started to think for a moment.
" I Love you too you know" Abigail Said and looked away stil blushing.

Taereen smiled as the water from the fountain kept pouring over him and Abigail.
"Good." He whispered. "That means I can do this..."
As he finished talking he leaned down towards Abigail, grabbed her face in his hands and pressed his lips against hers.

When Abigail's lips met Taereens she closed her eyes. She was still blushing since this was where first kiss after all. She wished that this moment would last forever.
