myHogwarts hade en "frågestund" på deras facebooksida igår.
Facebook-sidan "Ravenclaws on MyHogwarts" har lagt upp en lista med frågorna som blev besvarade.
(Jag använder spoiler-knappen eftersom det är ganska många frågor.)
Spoiler:Tryck här för att visa!Here are the questions that were asked during the MyHogwarts Q&A and the answers that MyHogwarts gave! Enjoy!
Q: When will the beta open?
A: "It will open for beta testers on an undisclosed day in mid-March, most likely after the 15th."
Q: When will the site open for everyone?
A: "It will open in July, the specific day is not known at this time."
Q: Will it be open before Pottermore?
A: "We aren't Pottermore and do not know their plans for release, but we do anticipate launching in June without any problems."
Q: Will the common rooms have passwords or riddles?
A: "I think you'll be pleased with what we have in store with regards to that."
Q: How difficult will it be to do muggle school and hogwarts?
A: "We anticipate that students will be "dual-enrolled' and assure you that the workload is manageable with Muggle studies/responsibilities."
Q: Has WB/Rowling's team concluded their review of the website and given the official okay?
A: "JKR hasn't been contacted, merely because we're sure she's busy and this is a fan-run operation. However we're still ironing out the details with Warner Bros. to stay in legal compliance."
Q: Can we say the word mudblood or not?
A: "Only if you want detention."
Q: Have you sent the Prizes for those who won the HoneyDukes Sweepstakes yet?
A: "There has been a MAJOR issue shipping the candies, but we do promise to deliver them as soon as possible. We will notify you by email when we can send them; we have not forgotten!"
Q: When do the textbook writers recieve an email on whether or not their sample was accepted?
A: "All accepted writers have been notified."
Q: Will there be an app for iPods/iPhones
A: "We do not have the volunteer programmers to develop apps for mobile devices, HOWEVER we are release a mobile version for smartphones/tablets, so it will be almost as good as an app. Try visiting Facebook's website from your phone and that's sort of what we're doing."
Q: Will classes be available for beta users?
A: No. Classes will be open to all in September.
Q: Will we choose things like our wands, houses, blood status, etc?
A: "Yes "
Q: Is Flash programing part of the site? Will I be able to fully use myHogwarts on my iPad?
A: "Definitley NOT. We do not plan to use Flash on any parts of the website."
Q: Will there be any sort of points system in My Hogwarts?
A: "What would a Harry Potter social network be without some House competition?! Of course!"
Q: Can we chat with other members?
A: "Chat, Meet, Mingle, Connect - yes!"
Q: "What are the classes about (DADA, potions etc)? im not stupid, ive reread the books like quite a lot of times, and i know what charms, dada and stuff is but on the internet???"
A: "We are developing courses based on the canon of the books. In your first year, you will take all classes required by Hogwarts first years. All classes are in writing format, sort of like interactive fan-fiction."
Q: How can it possibly be free?
A: "We are fully ad-supported. We need to have Google ads and active users in order to cover costs for the site... but they will be entirely non-intrusive, meaning no pop-ups, no page-interruptions, no big interjecting videos; just standard layout advertising."
Q: In the Future is there going to be a Virtual Concert Band?
A: "That'd be amazing, wouldn't it!"
Q: Will there be a place similar to the Great Hall, where friends of various houses can "hang out"?
A: "Absolutely"
Q: How are dorms going to be created? How many people will be in a dorm room? Will you stay with the same people every year?
A: "For the sake of surprise, we will not answer that."
Q: What about this website is going to set it apart from the others? Why should I join this? If I choose not to take the classes, what other UNIQUE things will there be for me to do?
A: "We are, at our core, a Harry Potter social network. We connect fans from all over the world and give them a place to discuss and interact with the fictional parts of the series (both online, and in real life). We have academic and roleplay qualities like every other site, but no one has created some of the features and abilities that we have mapped out for you. No one has been able to digitally bring the Potter universe to such a Muggle reality as we will soon do."
Q: Can i be a wizarding artist?
A: "There will be many areas for you to showcase your work!"
Q: What about the characters from the book? Will they pop in sometime?
A: "We do plan to bring some of the canon fiction to reality from time to time, such as having encouraging letters from characters and occasional drop-bys."
Q: Will we be assigned our own unique wands?
A: "Unfortunately no. We advise fans to use Pottermore (hopefully it will be launched) to find their true wand. You can then choose the wand in myHogwarts that you were given in Pottermore."
Q: Is there a way to see if anyone local is on it? So we could be friends.
A: "That is a secret best kept for launch  "
Q: Will us beta users have access to the whole site, or just parts of it like pottermore?
A: "We'll allow access to all we have built. If we can finish off everything but the academics (due September), we'll release it "
Q: Can we are explore my hogwarts with a phone?
A: "There will be a mobile version, yes."
Q: Do you guys also have awesome graphics like Pottermore or you focused more on the content or both?
A: " We don't have the illustration-type interface that myHogwarts has."
Q: Is there going to be a newsletter with updates and headlines on things going on in the myHogwarts community?
A: "We'll have a news feature to keep everyone updated with what's going on."
