New generation benders

Herkio helped her sit up when he saw that she was weak. Which was very understandable. He put his arm on her back to help her sit up and looked at her. "You sure? You just fell several meters before hitting water and almost drowning". Most people wouldn't be okay after that.
When Pema landed and the lemur came he stod up. "I'm okay" he told Ela before turning to Hye, a bit angry. "Keep that bloody lemure from Eis and us until it has leaned!" he said and Eis came flying and landed on his shoulder. She gave the lemur a angry gaze as well.

"I'll get him a leash, I promise." She said nodding and grabbed the lemur by its tail as Ryuu and Bipin showed up beside them.
"Geez, I thought you were both going down." Ryuu said with a loud sigh of relief. "I'm so happy you didn't." He added quickly. "See, Bipin? This is why you need a true firebender and not a lightningbender. You could've just rocketed down!" Ryuu said while making all kinds of special effects movements with his arms.
"Hey, you look kind of pale." Bipin said bowing down on his knees in front of her.
"Shut it, I'm fine!" Ela replied trying to rise up on her legs however these gave out below her and she fell right back down trying to catch herself with her hands.
"I think we need to get into town, you need to rest." Hye said worried. "Actually you both seem to need rest." She continued in the same tone. Just as this was said Pema took a few steps forward and stretched her huge tongue out and licked the still pretty much freaking out Ela.
"I think she's trying to heal you." Bipin said and Ela turned her head to the giant beast.
"I don't like you, now get away." Ela said pissed off as Pema licked her again.
"We should get into town..." Ryuu commented. "...or at least interrupt this makeout-session." He continued and giggled like a child.

Herkio nodded. "Good". He petted Eis over her feathers. He felt sorry for the poor bird, but more for Ela. She seemed to be scared of flying, birds and maybe even water now since she almost drowned. He just hated flying, it was dangerous. COuldn't they just rent a car? Somebody of them had to have a drivers license.
He looked down at Ela, she was pale, probably he was as well since he was still shaky from almost dying before. But he felt a bit better since he had been in water, he loved it. And it made him feel a bit colder as well, which was nice. Because it was always so warm there, especially toh im that was used to cold weathers.
"I'm okay, but I refuse to fly that bison again" he said and Ela needed to rest. He saw she couldn't stand and before she could protest he scooped her up into his arms, taking a few steps away from Pema as well. "We can start going now" he started walking with her in his arms, not really caring if it was awkward, but she just needed help.

If it wasn't for the fact that Ela could barely lift her arms properly she would've protested loudly as she was carried off to town. She was pretty pissed off but also she had no energy left in her little body. She turned her head back at the others as she saw herself standing amongst them. Her glowy disappointed self who stood there as the stalking devil expecting her to care. However she was caring, just not as much as she should. The other spirits were circling around. A small butterfly-shaped spirit landed on Herkios shoulder. It fluttered its wings and was hopping along on his shoulder without a care in the world. Plus Ela was really tired, so pretty much all her usual silence about the spirits around her was gone. She knew anyone could see them with enough training however she never knew who and when people could. A little bit annoying. She slowly raised a hand towards is shoulder and giggled in her exhaustion.
"There's a spirit on your shoulder." She whispered and giggled again as the small spirit kept jumping around and fluttering it's tiny sparkling wings. She rested her head on his chest by now and her hand fell back down since she couldn't hold it up any longer. She was still smiling like a fool following the little thing with her eyes. It was so tiny and fragile, she loved the little thing... right now.

Herkio continued to carry her as they started to walk to the city. The others followed them and they where all pretty quiet. Atleast Herkio. Even if he said he was okay, ofcourse he was tired by falling down twice and swimming in the cold water even if he was used to the cold. They all needed to rest at the nearest inn.
He soon saw the city and was about to tell Ela that when he saw her point at his shoulder and giggle. "What?" he just asked confused. A spirit? He couldn't see anything. But he hadn't trained in seeing spirits either. But Eis seemed to see something. She jumped around on his shoulder as well and seemed to chase something.
Soon they reached the city and he looked around until he saw a inn, they could eat and rest there. He carried her inside and sat her down in a chair by a big table and sat down besides her.

The spirit followed them inside, it was skipping around on the table jumping and skipping away from the dove that was chasing it. Ela was half lying on the table and put her hand down on the table so that the spirit could get away. It was fluttering around her fingers and when she looked up she saw a child-sized rabbit stand and stare at her. Another spirit, it didn't look mean, just sad. It was a sad spirit. The spirit jumped up on the table and buffed on her resulting in Ela sneezing of the sudden gust of dust. Ryuu came in and went up to the innkeeper to pay for the rooms. Bipin came in after him and looked around.
"There are spirits everywhere in this town." Bipin said and seemed so happy that it was a little bit uplifting. "There are even spirits in here." Bipin continued pointing at the rabbit on the table which jumped back down. The little butterfly was still flapping it's wings around her hands. Hye came in and had a rope around her lemur who looked really, really sad over being leashed.

Herkio still noticed that Eis sememd to chase something she flew around over their heads in the inn and he was a bit concerned that the owner might wanted to get the dove outside. "Eis" he said and she came landing on his shoulder.
He didn't notice any other of the spirits and sighed when Bipin saw them. "I can't see any" he said and leaned back in his chair. He was still a bit wet from being in that lake. "How can you see them? I have never understood that". He then saw Hye and the lemur. He almost felt sad for the poor thing before he reminded himself that Ela had fallen of because of that thing. "Do you guys want something to eat?" he wondered.

"According to my master it's something about the spirits show themselves to you if they feel like it. The avatar often has it naturally." Hye said and sounded like an encyclopedia. "It's okay if you don't see them though, I can't either." Hye continued and Ryuu came up to them.
"Well, I have seen them but I can't see any right now." Ryuu said and shrugged.
"When did you see them?" Bipin asked surprised.
"When you did you meditation-thing, they flock around you when you do that thing." Ryuu said whilst doing all kinds of stuff with his arms to show Bipin going into the avatar-state.
"The spirits show themselves when they feel like it, basically. However they're usually clear to see if they're angry and hostile." Hye said and smiled. "I've never seen any angry spirits though." She continued.
"Let's not talk about something as depressing as angry spirits and let's get some food as Herkio suggested instead." Bipin said and as he said this one of the waitresses popped up by their table. Elas little spirit flew off to sit on the waitress shoulder now, it had probably just become bored with all of them.

Herkio slowly nodded. He wondered if he would get to see some spirits. But he wasn't sure if he wanted to see them. What if they where bad spirits around him? He didn't wanna see them. But it would be nice to see nice spirits. Or not. He didn't know.
He listned to them talk and looked up at Eis. She seemed very content with that the lemur had a rope now. She then looked at him and twittred. Maybe she was hungry?
He continued to listen to the others until the waitress came. "Some fish soup please, and some bread" he ordered to himself. The bread was for Eis. And he loved fish, even if he ate it alot at home he still loved it. He turned to the others. "What are you having?" He especially looked at Ela since she hadn't said so much, and since she needed to rest and eat the most.

"The vegetable soup." She feels sick when she tries to eat meat. Also a trait from her upbringing. Since she's been pretty much just eating greenery and nature food since she could barely walk and talk properly. So the taste of meat, any kind of meat, makes her sick. However she did notice that insects could pass without issues. So her diet consists of insects and vegetables. Not the best diet, however she did get the nutritions needed to survive and sometimes it was even good. The waitress wrote down her order and the others ordered for themselves in a row. Hye ordering extra fruit, probably for the flying beast. Ela sighed to herself as she looked at the rabbit hopping around inside the bar. Some seemed to be able to see it however most just ignored it. That was... concerning. The butterfly was back flying and fluttering among them again like an annoying floating light. It landed on her willingly this time, it sent some kind of energy through her. Spiritual, of course. Her father had gotten the chi-marks tattooed on her for a reason. They were supposed to harness the spiritual energy so that she'd be able to use it when meditating.
