"This is Karkat, Terezi and Nepeta", You slowly explain to John.

You smile.
"Hey" you say, a little shy. Even though they are Dave's friends, and you know they are nice, you still are shy too new people. You nervously iches your head and smile cowardly.
"I'm John" you mumble.

"Hi John", Nepeta says and everyone sits down at the table. The conversation kicks off fast but you are not really involved in it. You have other thoughts going on in your head.
"Dave", someone says and you comes back to reality.
"What is it?", you ask slightly irritated.
"I would ask you the same", Terezi says and you sight. You wasn't really acting like yourself today.

Your name is John Egbert and you cant believed that you are sitting with four others, and that you are talkactive. Oh my God, you are actually talking to Karkat, arguing with him about movies. You actually have friends.
Daves voice suddenly cathes your attention.
"What is it?" He says, slightly annoyed.
"I would ask you the same!" She says, clearly upset.
"I mean what is up with you? You aren't yourself!"

"It's nothing", you say and smile, more or less fake. Terezi seems to notice but she doesn't say anything.

You look at Dave a while, with your eyebrows raised. Then you continue talking about movies with Karkat, but your thoughts are focused on Dave. What wawas he thinking about?

You notice that John's looking at you, you look back and smile at him. A real smile this time.

You cheerfully smiles back at Dave.
~Time jump to end of school~
After your first day at this new school, you are both excited andd Tired. Tired- because, Well it's first day after summer break. And excited because you got all of your new friends chumhanchumhandles, and when you come home you directly log onto your computer, and happily sees that Dave is online. You start a conversation with him.

EB: Hey Dave! :B

Dave answers directly, and you smile at him.
EB: what are you up to?
