vad tycker ni då? Jag tycker några låtar är bra, några ok, några dåliga. Rejält chockad av Wood det ska sägas. Annars tycker jag generellt om soundet, men tycker inte texterna är så starka

börjar med att dela min reflektion om det generella mottagandet av albumet, många är ju ganska missnöjda och det är mkt kritik going around hahahah och jag håller personligen inte med!! MEN fattar också where people are coming from
för
its been a good old WHILE sen hon skrev ett album while happy.....
fattar verkligen att efter fem år av folklore, evermore, midnights och ttpd så är showgirl.... not the same...
och while those are good albums så känner jag mest att.. ja självklart kommer lyrics som skrivs som coping mechanism när man mår skit vara mer deep och profound, ttpd var ju liksom a god damn poetic masterpiece (but do we WANT her in that headspace again?)
and yet i still love showgirl more than ttpd (ja i said it!!! sue me)

im a rep/lover/1989 girlie forever och showgirl hits that spot for me too ❤️

MEN då e ju jag också...... right there with her hahahaha relaterar så hårt till tex wish list och honey liksom och det e ju inte alla som kan alltid så i get that im part of the ändå kanske lite nischade målgrupp of swifties in new-ish happy relationships currently actively in the settling down buying a house på landet era liksom
fattar absolut att if ur like currently living through ur own ttpd era story tex så vill man väl inte nödvändigtvis get showgirl thrown in ur face såklart

OCH asså while folk som jämför the lyricism med typ folklore och ttpd, FATTAR att dom inte gillar showgirl if THATS what they want or expect
MEN folk som både kritiserar lyricism OCH jämför med typ 1989........ HUUUH??? now THATS where u lose me
we got the line "i have been afflicted by a terminal uniqueness, i've been dying just from trying to seem cool" i en låt som handlar om att få känna sig bekväm i att vara sig själv runt någon man älskar och litar på?
and yall prefer "haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate fakers gonna fake fake fake fake fake but im just gonna shake shake shake shake shake shake it off" ? ¿

her fkn iconic pop bangers från både 1989 och rep.... kinda didnt? and thats fine! theyre still GREAT!
hur är anything from showgirl not lyrically equal or superior to welcome to new york, blank space, style, shake it off, bad blood, ready for it, look what you made me do, dont blame me, this is why we cant have nice things etc.... all songs that the same people who criticize showgirl for the weak lyrics would take a bullet for

jag älskar samtliga låtar!! tyckte att the title track var lite tråkig först men jag diggar den också nu

har inga skips alls förutom eldest daughter ibland MEN ska sägas att jag älskar the lyrics och framförallt the story being told, the slow paced sentimental song vibe just isnt... my vibe hahahah (mvh typ halva folklore är skip for me tyvärr)

älskar allt
great vibes, otroligt sound!!! och tycker att nästan alla låtar tell an interesting story, kanske med undantag för elizabeth taylor cause girlie we've heard that story before (hela lover skriker) men asså... the sound? the production? the way the sound fits so well with the lyrics in every single song, varenda sekund? and did i mention the STORIES she tells!!!! im HOOKED

och ÄLSKAR wood!!! angående den tolkar jag den som lite... asså lite blank space vibes if u get what im saying? asså dels handlar wood om att vara trygg i sitt förhållande och inte behöva typ hålla tummarna och ~knock on wood~ för att hoppas att allt ska gå bra i relationen för hon är så pass trygg o vet for sure att han faktiskt älskar henne
och meanwhile spelar hon ju också på the innuendos kring (knock on) wood och (being) cocky.... which i think is really fun! MEN jag tolkar det också som lite.... self-aware satir?? precis som blank space skrevs utifrån perspektivet av folks perception of her, så tror jag att wood skrevs utifrån perspektivet av alla som skämtar om (och also folk som genuinely tycker) att travis är en himbo som cant bring anything to the table förutom his.. well... wood
either way typ en av mina favoriter for sure!!! incredibly fun song ❤️
