He looked at her, still standing some distance away.
"My next class is History of Magic, and professor asked us to bring pictures from when we were younger", he answered, crouching his back again so he could continue looking. His mom always made sure that he packed down an album, so he could look in it if he ever felt homesick. "Don't know why, though." He continued looking for a while before he straightened his back again and looked over at her.
"Sit down", he said, gesticulating at his bed.

“Aw, that’s cute” Audrey said with a smile. She did as he said, and sat down on his bed.
“I forgot the picture, I was going to show you my skiing picture!” she exclaimed and laughed.
“It’s not moving though, wizard pictures are much cooler because of that” she said and leaned towards the bed post.
"I wonder what little Noel looks like" she said and smiled.

He bent down once again, searching under his bed. Her last comment made him look up at her again, though.
"I was the ugliest child you could ever imagine", he answered, sounding very serious. He was serious; he was a ugly child. Not that children usually looked good or anything, but still.

Audrey laughed.
“I bet that’s a lie. You should see little Audrey though, I haven’t always been this pretty” she said jokingly and winked.
“Why don’t you just use your wand?” she asked and looked at him. She was a bit surprised that he searched the muggle-way and not using magic.

He sniggered. She was confident, that was a sure thing.
"Good question", he asked, fishing up his wand from his pocket. How could he have been so stupid? He always used magic - seriously, he always did. Great. Now he probably looked dumb.
"Accio album", he said, and within a second the green and silver album flew up from under the bed and landed on top of it.

“Wow, even a Slytherin photo album. Were your parents Slytherins, too?” she asked and smiled. She kicked off her shoes and climbed more into the bed, leaning her head towards the headboard.
“Okay, let’s see what the little Prefect looked like” she said with a grin.

"My dad was", he answered. "Mom went to Beauxbatons." He opened the album. The first pages were from before he was born - pictures of his mother being pregnant and stuff. He was quite embarrassed showing them to Audrey, considering that his mom was only sixteen when she got him.

Audrey looked at the pictures, and noticed how young his mum was. Not that it was weird, she just acknowledged it. She decided not to say anything about it, however.
“Look at that!” she exclaimed and pointed at a baby picture of Noel.
“That’s cute” she said, looking up at him, meeting his eyes with a smile.

He looked at the baby picture of himself and blushed at her reaction. Really? He was the ugliest baby ever... (He probably wasn't, to be honest. But he wasn't cute.)
"Are you kidding? I have dried food around my mouth", he said, looking disgusted. "That's just disgusting." He flipped the page and there was a picture with him, his mom, and his dad. Noel was around three years old there and he held his dads broom. Hell, his father had actually tried to make him like Quidditch back in the days.

Audrey laughed and looked at the next picture.
“Wow, how amazing it would have been to be able to fly at such young age” she said, a bit jealously. She had actually wondered how her life would have been if she had had magic parents, maybe she would have someone to go home to at Christmas. And she would definitely be afraid of fire. She smiled at Noel.
“It must have been wonderful to grow up in this world” she said.
