Catalian couldn't help but to smile when the smith said he wouldn't have to pay. "Well it wasn't so hard". Sure she had wasted a lot of arrows but it was worth it now. She continued to smile to herself, it had been pretty fun when she thought about it. He had been a challange, it hadn't ended up as she wanted exactly but this was good for her. "But as long as I get my things I'm fine with them being free for him" she said and shook her shoulders.
She took her things, placed the arrows in her quiver, the knives in her belt before turning to Chal. "Well I guess this is goodbye then".

The look the smith gave Chal that moment when Catnip said the word goodbye was so dark that Chal felt himself shrink. That usually didn't happen, holy thieves hearts. What now? Chal brought up his pouch of gold from his pocket even though he just placed it on his belt and threw it to her.
"You lost mah bounty so ya can 'ave that." He said with a nod in the bag and he crossed his arms. It just scrambled and shook so he would probably be heard or something when he left in a hurry anyway. The smith still had that dark look and Chal couldn't for the love of anything figure out why the hell he looked like that. What in the whole wild world did he want from Chal anyway? Chal was a selfish thief damn it. Also a murderer... yeah.

Catalina didn't notice the smith's dark look towards Chal, and if she had seen it she wouldn't have understood it. She started to walk out from the shop, adjusting her clothes and weapon a bit. She would continue the trip to find her uncle now, she was ready. Suddenly she heard something and turned around just in time to catch the pouch. "What?" she asked a bit confused before he explained.
"Okay..Thanks" she said a bit unsure of what to do. "Well bye then shall, thanks for the money, and weapons". she nodded to the blacksmith as well before she got out form the shop. She made her way to the market, quickly buying some more food and other supplies before going out from the village into the forest, it was just her and the forest now....
Some hours later it was beginning to get dark, and she was pretty tired after chasing Chal. "I need to sleep" she mumbled. She didn't even bother to make a fire, she just put a small blank on the ground before sitting on it, crawling into a little ball and tried to fall asleep.

"What?" Chal asked when he was pretty certain Catnip couldn't hear him.
"You better not get that girl in some trouble of yours." The smith said. "I know that look of yours, she's not some item you can steal, Chal." Chal just shook his head fiercely.
"What ya on 'bout?" He said.
"You got the look of a thief who just got his eyes on a diamond when you look at her, mate." Chal just sneered.
"Ya don' know what ya talkin' 'bout, ol' man." Chal said and was about to storm out when the smith stopped him and gave him a small pouch of coin.
"I know you have the bloodstone jewel, rumor has it Moldus is looking for them." The smith said. Chal sighed, took the coin and rolled his eyes.
"I was gonna sell it to 'im... or y'know his contacts." Chal said. "I don' really know anymore though." He said and the smith just nodded like an understanding grandpa.
"See ya 'round." Chal said before leaving and climbed to the rooftops with the intention of following Catnip... which he did.

A couple hours later he was still following Catnip around, basically sitting around just watching out for anything. He noticed her lack of fire but didn't dare to actually go down there.
"You're goin' to freeze to death ya moron, it's cold at night..." He mumbled mostly to himself but still jumped down, gathered wood and did his very best to silently make a fire for her. Catnip couldn't just freeze to death now could she?

Catalina couldn't get Chal out of her head, even when she was walking alone in the forest. He was weird, strange, not like other thiefs she met. Sure he was annoying, but also a bit charming and fun. Though she would never admit that out loud. "Hm...I'll probably never see him again" she mumbled to herself. She hadn't noticed being followed yet, probably because his cat like abilites to be quiet. Otherwsie she would have noticed him a long time ago.
SHe felt more and more tired as the day went out, she had been walking for hours, had been chasing Chal before and a lot of things had happend. She deserved some rest. She just started to fix her little camp. She had eaten some hour ago so she wasn't hungry.

She knew it was probably stupid to not make a fire, but she was so tired that she didn't even felt able to do something else than sleep. So when the blanket was rolled out she curled into a ball and pulled another small blanket over herself, it was made in a special material, really good at keeping heat. She was just about to fall asleep when she felt a presence, and heard steps.

She opened her eyes, looking up, she didn't see who or what it was, but something was at her camp. She quietly brought out one of her knifes before dashing up and against the intruder, putting the knife to their throat. "Who are you daring to attack me when I sleep?!". Then, she saw it was Chal and quickly let him go. "Chal?" she asked, suprised and confused. She stopped a yawn with her hand, she was too tired for this.

"Wow, really, I sneak into ya camp and ya don' kill me off?" Chal said actually angry with her but he quickly calmed himself, his voice going to a soothing state as he was going to try something very, very moronic. "This is one o' ya dreams, Catnip, don' know why ya would dream o' me though." He said and got a charming smile dressing his face. His eyes glowing ever so slightly in the darkness. It wasn't going to work, he knew that. Catnip was clever, damn it. Also he just wanted to give her a fire so that she wouldn't freeze... allright? Just that small thing, it's nothing! Can't he just get that little thing out of the way? It's a good deed, he doesn't do many of those so it'd be really nice if he'd just be able to do it.

Catalina was at the moment to tired and confused to get angry again. She just looked at him, her eyelids feeling very heave and she resisted the lust of closing them. "It could have killed you if I didn't saw it was you" she mumbled and yawned again. When he told her it was a dram she wanted to believe him, because she wanted to sleep. But she knew it wasn't true. She sighed deeply. "I'm tired but I'm not stupid Chal" she just said and rubbed her eyes a bit before looking at him. "I could have killed you, you know...You should never attack a tired hunter". She sat down again, grabbing her blanket and wrapping it around her. "I should probably ask you why you're here...But I'm to tired..." she mumbled and closed her eyes again.

"I'm callin' this a success, then." Chal said and placed the wood before lighting it with his flint. He always had flint with him. It lit pretty easily after a few tries. He didn't care much for it, it was just a good deed. He can't be punished for one of those, right? He probably can but he's gonna pretend he can't. What harm could there actually be in setting up a fire for her anyway? It'll probably burn out in the morning but it'll warm her up somewhat. When he was done he prepared to sneak away when the moon came out from behind the clouds like an evil white parasite and lit him up fully. However there wasn't a lot to see he was still mainly a shadow but sneaking away would be a lot harder in the middle of a shining god forsaken moon.

Catalina didn't even care anymore. Maybe this really was a dream? She was so tired so her brain could surerly make this up. But why would she dream of Chal out of all persons?
She decided to just tell herself that this was a dream and closed her eyes. Just seconds later she was asleep. Sleeping rather peacefully and the only thing heard from her where light breaths. She slept like that the whole night until the sun got up, shining her right in the face. "Owh..." she mumbled and sat up, rubbing her eyes slightly. "Already morning?". It was then she saw the burned out fire in front of her and her eyes got big. "What...I didn't make a fire" she said rather confused when she remembered, Chal. "So it wasn't a dream?" she said to herself and got up, she pulled down her hood and put the blankets in her little backpack before looking around her. "Did he really sneak into my camp? What a creep" she muttured.

Chal had snuck off when she had fallen asleep again, with the intention of returning far, far back in his mind. He had done something good, now he could... go and sell of his treasures. Instead he had first fallen asleep in some tree pretty high up and when he'd gotten annoyed by the sunlight he had fallen down. Landing on his feet as always since his deal with the witches. However he had both witnessed first-hand how it is to be basically a sleepy cat falling from a tree and seen it. The balance is never the best. He yawned and slapped himself across the face to wake up.
"Darn me to hell, won't ever make deal with witches again." He mumbled and yawned again. He looked through his belongings and found some bread. It wasn't moldy which came as a surprise. Not that he hadn't eaten moldy things before but even he had his limits plus food he found was usually not fresh and still soft to the bite. The smith had probably placed it on him. He ate part of the loaf before putting it back. He'd need it later.
