New generation benders

Herkio was still green and it looked like he would puke. But he just sat there and held in the saddle and tried to breathe normally. He had almost fallen off completly, thanks to this flying Bison. Eis flied nearer them and then landed beside Bipin on Pemas head.
"I scared the shit out of myself" he mumbled back to her and finally managed to become pale again instead of green. "Good" he mumbled when Bipin said that they where gone. Atleast he hadn't fallen of in vain atleast then. "When will we land?" he mumbled.

"We can land in Kuro and make a plan!" Ryuu said and seemed very happy with his suggestion. However Ela didn't have anything to say about it, Kuro was pretty close, outside of the Imperial City's reach and she had a friend with a motorcycle there. A friend meaning a person that knows who she is and she knows that he has a motorcycle and that she can get it. Which means she doesn't need to ride on some hellish flying creature to get to places. Wait... why does Ryuu want to go there?
"Why Kuro, Ryuu?" Bipin asked confused. "That's cursed by spirits." He continued and seemed a little scared. With all right, in Kuro the spirits were particularly angry of some reason. However it does create interesting scenarios, such as fighting a huge waterspirit in the middle of town or escaping from a small horde of flying bastards that attack any living thing that moves. Also other spirits of course. Horrible things, however Ela knows how to deal with them, her tribe had a lot of trouble with spirits by the volcanoes resulting in that a part of the large family got trained to take care of them. Ela was one of them. The thoughts of spirits made her nauseated... she hated doing spiritual training.

Herkio didn't know if he was positive or not to that plan. He wanted to land, wanted to feel the earth under his feet and see the water, be able to reach to bend it. But then he realized something that took his thoughts of almost dying. There was clouds around them, clouds where made of water, filled with them. Could he bend it? He concentrated on a cloud and made som simple waves with his hand and some water came out of the cloud to him. He smiled and let it fall down, hopefully it wouldn't hit somebody.
But his thought was brought back to Ryuus idea when Bipin questioned it. Spirits? He had been lucky enough and hadn't encountered them so much. But he knew that sometimes they could attack people. And he didn't want that. BUt they where four pretty good benders, and they had a avatar. They could manage that! "I vote for Ryuus idea, I want to get to the ground before I throw up".

"Me too!" Ela exclaimed with her voice just shooting up as she thought she was slipping off. She wasn't, her hand was just automatically adjusting itself. meaning that she slightly let go with her dominant hand making her uncertain on if she was actually holding on.
"I have no problem with flying around but I think we need to pick up a little supplies." Hye said happily as she did her little flying stunt again and laughed.
"Hye, please sit down." Ryuu said and even he seemed a bit greenish. Hye kept laughing.
"It's such a shame Bipin is the only one here expect me of us that will ever understand the freedom of flying around." She giggled and Bipin looked back at her and smiled wide.
"I look forward to it." He said. "However, off to Kuro then!" He continued still smiling. It seemed he was content with the way it had progressed. Hyes lemur seemed very pleased as he flew around teasing the poor dove. Ela saw this only because she had to dodge the dove as it flew right over her head. "Kuro is just a few miles ahead it shouldn't take too long to get there." Bipin informed from his steering position.

Herkio felt very reliefed when the others seemed to like the idea as well, maybe not Bipin then but the others. He just wanted to land so badly, he didn't hold on quite as hard now, since his hand had started to hurt from it before.
He slowly nodded to Hye even if he got green again from seeing her fly around. "Yeah, please, you make me even more sick..." he mumbled nad tried not to look out from the bison, if he just tried to not think of it, maybe he wouldn't feel this bad?
But he saw his dove being teased by the leamur. He slowly reached out his hand and his dove landed on it. He brought her to his body and hugged her carefully, protecting her from the lemur, and she bringed him comfort. The snow white dove seemed very pleased by it as well and didn't struggle. Herkio just nodded to Bipin.

"Get your lemur away from me, Hye!" Ela screamed when the devilcreature attacked her since she was close to the stupid dove. "Get it off me!" She continued and crawled away to the other side of the saddle. The lemur now sitting on her head.
"Popo! Play nice!" Hye said and the lemur didn't listen.
"Calm down!" Bipin said. "We're going in for landing." He continued.
"Are you serious!? There's a devil on my head! Get it off!" Ela was screaming on the top of her lungs. As she got enough of it she rose up in panic as the descended and Ela fell off.
"Ela!" Ryuu shouted as she fell right down. There was water beneath her, just outside Kuro there was a huge lake and she was about to crashland into water. As always when in panic she saw the spirits. Every single one of them. The large and the small ones like floating lights all over the place. She was going to die, the spirits wasn't friends with her, they were all evil. But some of those she was was darker than others. She was going to die. She hated birds, she hated flying things, she hated spirits... but there was so many evil spirits. Where had she read that hitting water from a height was like hitting pure concrete? Or had she just heard that? Maybe it was a rumor.

Herkio had to calm down Eis since she started to try and get loose and flax her wings when the lemur came closer and landed on Ela. "Calm down!" he said to the dove, he tried to keep her wings still. She had broken her wing when he first found her years ago. And it could get hurt when she used them to much, it had never really became like it once where. But finally she managed to get out of his grip and flew up, away from the lemur.
He sighed and was about to tell Hye to take care of her lemur as well when he saw Ela fall. He shouted after her as well and quickly looked down in less than a second. Water. He could do something! Without really thinking he fell off as well. And as they fell he quickly bended upp the water, took it upp to her so she wouldn't hit it so hard and hurt herself. But she still fell through the water, but slower. He made the same thing to himself and soon they where in the lake. He started to swim towards her, he was a excellent swimmer and could be really fast with his water bending. He took a firm grip around her shoulders before swimming up to the shore of the lake Carefully he laid her down on the grass and looked down on her. "Ela" he said and tried to get a response from her.

Ela hit the water and it didn't hurt as much as she thought. She had closed her eyes because she didn't want to see her death. However she could feel herself break through the surface and get completely soaked. She wasn't a great swimmer and when she re-opened her eyes she met her own. However it was a spirit tricking her, she knew that and even so she in surprised opened her eyes and therefore losing the little oxygen she had in her very exhausted lungs. However the only thing she realized when she lost her breath was that she hadn't even screamed on her way down. What's wrong with her? The spirit-version of her didn't disappear. It looked angry and disappointed in her and she realized this must be what her father sent after her. Hah, it isn't working. It blackened before her eyes.
"Ela" Someone said and her eyes fluttered open before she started coughing up water where the person wasn't right now. Today she has been on a flying pison named Pema, been assaulted by a flying lemur named Popo and met a dove named Eis, she has fallen from an unknown height, almost drowned and now she's still alive. However it feels like she's going to faint. She kept coughing water for all that she is worth. She's not okay with flying and she's a terrible swimmer, why can't they just stay on ground!?

Herkio felt a bit proud of himself. He had saved her from dying. He had jumped after her even if he had been scared to death. And they where both alive. "Ela" he said again and dragged her wet hair out of her face so she could see. Then she started coughing.
He studied her some seconds before he concentrated and slowly moved his fingers, most of the water down her throat came out of her mouth and landed on the ground. "Are you okay?" he asked her. They where both soaked. He didn't mind it tho, he didn't freeze so easily, but she was probably could. He bended and tried to get the water out of her clothes and from her skin, he got some of it out, atleast not leaving her dripping. He then just looked at her, still leaning a bit over her.

Ela was pretty exhausted, she was completely out of her element. She was suppose to be on the run from her crazy family and she had just almost died. Now right in the aftermath she realized that if she had died it might have been a lot easier. A dead man can't be chased now can they? So how was she feeling? How she was always feeling? She wasn't bleeding.
"I'm fine." She said trying to sit up properly with the help of weak arms. So weak that she couldn't sit up. She got up on her elbows before her muscles giving out. Damn it! She was fine, why can't her body understand that? "You?" She realized her voice was cracking and it was so husky it could be a mans voice. Which wasn't bad, it just didn't sound as it was supposed to. The water was out at least. Pema landed by them and the bloody lemur came flying again. However as it came close Ela tried to bend the lemur out of the sky. She gasped when it hurt to bend. It usually does when she's exhausted. Hye landed by her.
"I'm so sorry, Popo isn't that old... he hasn't learnt how to behave properly yet." She made her excuses... babbling away of course.
