Chapter Five



”Is it alcohol involved?” The man's voice on the other end was calm and steady. I looked at Louis' unconscious face.
”I-I think so, sir.” Emma stroke his hair slowly while moving her thumb up and down against his cheek. Crying. I struggled not to grimace while I watched them.
”We'll be right there. Keep his head up and make sure he breaths. Bye.” I hang up and sat down shakily next to Emma.
”He's breathing.” She said.
I nodded my head in silence and watched her with Louis' unconscious head in her knee. Even though this maybe wasn't so timely I had to admit, they looked fucking perfect togheter. His perfect bright-blue eyes with her green ones. His hazel-brown hair matched with her dark. Just saying, they would make a perfect couple if Louis hadn't been such an asshole. Lilacs began ringing the park and blue light began to cover the white snow. Emma sighed in relief and took a firmly grip around Louis' head.
”Oh, thank god. We're gonna go to the hospital now Louis. Everything's gonna be alright.” She whispered slowly in Louis' ear.
I looked at them in disgust but I was forced to smile when Emma met my gaze. She looked broken.

The doctors had taken care of Louis which now lay in the ambulance. One of the doctor's started walking towards us. I felt how Emma buckled down next to me.
”There are no death-threating damages on him. He just a little to drunk.” He said. Emma relaxed next to me.
”You can follow you're boyfriend to the hospital if you wan't.” He said with his gaze on Emma. I swallowed my own spit in suprise and cough a few times to realize what he just said. Emma gave me a annoyed look and swallow hard. She met the man's gaze.
”I would like that.” I looked back at her in chock when she climbed in to the ambulance. The man was just about to close the doors when I stopped him in pure anger.
”Where she go. I go.” I almost screamed at him.
I was expecting that he would reject me or something but he didn't. He opened the back door a little more, like a gesture for me to step in. I literally jumped into the car and the man closed the door behind me. Emma was already sitting next to Louis. She took his hand in her's and braided them together. I swallow hard and sat down on the opposite side of Emma.
”Can't you just try to care, Harry? I know you hate him b-but I don't.” She looked up at me and gave me an innocent gaze. I tried to figure out what the hell was going. Where the hell is my Emma.
”How am I supposed to care for someone that probably want to see me ded?” I said.
She looked down at Louis' face.
”I didn't say you have to care Harry. I asked if you could try.” She said in a sad tone.
”Uhm..hmm.mm..” Louis' eyes began cautiously opened. Emma's hand got tighter around his and I could now see that he squeezed back. I was on fire. I knew that if he tried to do something more with her I was going to hit him.
”It's okay Louis. You're in a ambulance.” Emma said quiet. His eyes found her's and I saw it. She was sold. Fuck.
He gave her a small smile and she smiled back at him. He started moving his other hand that wasn't holding Emma's up. He took it to her chin and slowly stroke it with his thumb. It felt like someone poured water over me. I wasn't burning anymore I was standing in the fucking niagara falls.

”Yes..yes. Thank you, doctor.” I heard her voice far away from me. Emma's voice. Even if I just wanted to go home, I couldn't. Where she go, I go.
”They say he will be just fine. We can go home now.” She said. I swallow hard.
”Are you going home?” Okey, I admit. My voice was a bit to angry and hard. But she was kinda' worth it.
”Ehm..No. Im staying until he wakes up.” She said slowly. I sighed.
”Im gonna have to learn to live with this. Am I right?” I said angrily. Even if you could barely see it she nodded. My instincts took over and I left her with weepy eyes.
