Yes, I love English! It must be the world's best language!

I LOVE ENGLAND

People here, when you say that you love English as a language, do you mean British or American (or Australian?) English?

I think that an Australian accent sounds nice. It is almost like brittish english.

EmahS I love all kinds of English. British, Scottish, American, Australian.
I like different accents, even though some of them can be hard to understand sometimes. I might even mix American and British English when I talk or write. I´m not sure if thats good or not, I just don´t think about english as different kinds just as one big language.

Which kind of English do you prefer?

I'm "British all the way". But because of films and tv series, I tend to mix with American. But I'm living in England at the moment, so it's a really good practise! Especially with words you mix up. For example, saying you've got a stain on pants in Britain might cause some wierd looks. Really important to say trousers! Since pants is underwear in British...
And the confusion with chips. That's the thing you get with your burger (or in England, all food!) and crisps is the snacks.

British english truly is the best! My brother talks american english and it's soo irritating, I just want to beat him up every now and then.. but then again, he's my brother, he's always a little worse.

I convinced my family to go to our neighbour town yesterday, just so we could see Frozen in english, because otherwise I refused to. Priorities It was so worth it, though!

British English of course Doesn't matter if it's Scottish or Irish or London accent, I love all British accents I usually try to speak in British English, but I always unintentionally mimic the English I heard last, and if that was American then my accent comes out American too
