Noel definitely felt the tension too. It was almost unbearable. Why didn’t she say anything? She was way better making conversation than him. He chewed some potatoes and used the time to come up with something to say. His head was full of Klaus and he didn’t want to talk about him. It’d be weird, he figured.
“Would you fancy to go back to the Prefects bathroom?”, he asked, after a while.

Audrey smiled.
“You liked that, didn’t you?” she teased. She had liked it a lot, too, but it was fun to tease him, since he obviously was tenser about nakedness than she was. For her, it was just something that everybody had, a body, nothing weird with that. She nodded, however.
“Sure, I’d like that” she said and took a sip of her drink, “whenever you’re ready” she said and nodded at her almost empty plate.

A ‘fuck off’ was the only thing that Noel wanted to respond with. Hell, Audrey could be such a pain with her teasing. He shoved some food in his mouth to get some time to calm himself down. If he said fuck off to her everything would get bad again, and he really didn’t want that. He swallowed everything down with a sip of his drink.
“I’m done”, he said, putting down his glass on the table, causing a loud thud.

Audrey studied him as he ate, and stood up when he, unnecessarily loud, put his glass down. She walked out of the Great Hall, and worked her way up the stairs to the seventh floor. When she stood in front of the wall, she looked at Noel.
“I guess I could do it, even though I’m not a Prefect, I don’t think the room cares” she said and walked three times back and forth, thinking of the Prefect’s bathroom. As she had thought, the room didn’t care about rules (which made her love it even more), and the door appeared.

He followed her out of the Great Hall. He tries his best to catch up with her for a while - but he stopped when he felt his pulse rising. They were going to the same place anyway so it didn’t matter. When they were there, on the seventh floor, in front of the wall, he just shrugged at her comment. As far as he knew, the room of requirement didn’t have any rules. On the other side, he didn’t know much about it. He saw the door appear and opened it. He was met by the Prefect’s bathroom. But there was one thing that was different; it was full of lot candles. Before he even stepped in, he looked over at Audrey, confusion in his green-blue eyes.

Audrey stepped in before Noel, and her eyes widened. It was a bit different from the last time. She didn’t know why, she had only thought of the Prefects Bathroom, and nothing else. Maybe the room was trying to tell her something? She shook her head.
“Apparently the room thought it was a bit dark last time” she said and smiled. She liked candles, as long as the flames were contained. She pulled off her clothes, but kept her underwear on, just like the last time. She emerged into the water and turned around.
“I like it, it feels better than last time, somehow?” she asked and looked at Noel.

Noel stepped in after her, closing the door behind him. He couldn’t figure out if she was lying or not. He hopes that she lied. If she had thought about something romantic - that would’ve been great. Did she like him? He mentally shook his head. She hadn’t pictured anything romantic. She was Audrey and she didn’t seem to be the romantic type at all. Especially not around him. Why would she? They kind of hated each other. At least they used to. Nothing can change that fast.
“Mhm”, he mumbled, removing his shirt. Not feeling as insecure as before, for some reason. He removed the rest of his clothes but kept his underwear on, just like Audrey. He slowly went into the water and closed his eyes. It really felt great.

Audrey looked at Noel as he emerged into the water. Had he wanted her to think of something romantic? Had he thought about something romantic, making the room fulfil both of their wishes? Or had she thought about something romantic, subconsciously? She had a hard time deciding her feelings for him; one minute, they had fun and she enjoyed his company a lot, and the other they fought or had a disagreement, killing the mood. She leaned back towards the wall of the tub, closing her eyes. There was something in the air, she could just not figure out what.
“I’m going to get wrinkled, as much time as I’ll spend here in the future” she said and laughed.

He dipped his head into the water, making his dark and messy hair wet and almost even messier. He rubbed his eyes with his hands to remove the water before he opened them again.
"It gets boring pretty fast", he said, swimming closer to her. "Trust me. When I first became a Prefect I was here all the time. And after that I almost never go." It wasn't boring now though, when he had company. But he didn't say that. If he said that she would probably use it against him and he was so not up for that.

Audrey nodded.
“Well, I guess it can get pretty boring fast. Luckily you have some company now which makes it fun” she said and laughed. To be fair, he could have company here every time for all she knew, but still. She turned and floated on her back, trying to count the number of rectangles in the ceiling.
“Do you think we would have spoken to each other at all during our time here at Hogwarts if the project hadn’t happened? Do you think our paths would have crossed anyway?” she asked, still floating and looking up in the ceiling.
