Catalina was really hotheaded for the moment. Usually she could keep her cool, but usually she actually was able to capture her pray. But now he was so fast and she didn't wanna kill him, even if she started to think about doing it. It would be so much easier and faster than trying to capture him. She was just about to place another bow on her arrow when he jumped down and placed his dagger so he could cut off her string. She gritted his teeth and slowly let both of her hands with the weapons sunk down. She could make a new string off some animal tendons. She actually had an extra string in her small bag, but she didn't wanna have to reapair it now. She still had the arrow in her hands. She could use it as a weapon as well, it was great to stab with. She had done that before.
"Nope, it won't matter. I have other things than my daggers too". She said. She had five special arrows, they where dipped in some poison that came from a flower that grew around in the forest. One hit and it would paralyze you for a while. "I'm gonna kill him because he is a murdurer, thief, rapist and other horrible things. He have killed so many innocents..." she said and gritted her teeth again. "And he is my uncle, he..tried to attack me some years ago and gave me a large scar, I wanna give him one back". And she would get famous if she took care of him.

"Yeah, yeah, arrowheads, daggers, poison, whatever you got. Haven't you heard that I have nine lives?" Chal replied in an uncaring manner. He corrected his hood a little over his head to make sure his ears were covered. First of all the ears sat upon his head and not... where they were supposed to be and he was kind of lucky that his tail could be tucked in. He had a tail... and pointy ears, the witches never actually told him that part of the bargain. However the benefit of climbing, better pretty much everything kind of made it worth it. His eyes gleamed in bright yellow as he stepped back without destroying her bow.
"That's a good reason, what do you need? I'll pay for it." Chal said, didn't trust her at all but she needed money. Why else would she go bounty hunting? Nah, she was nobler than that. At least how Chal saw it, people act a lot differently in his circles, there are no noble thieves. "Give the Maker my regards." - Humorous Hawke 18 dec, 2014 22:32 |

Catalina had all of those things, and even if she wasn't the strongest or best in close combat she could try to punch him even if it probably wouldn't hurt him much. She wanted to get stronger, but she was pretty small and weak, but she was patient and could last long in the forest without getting tired. She had stamina. She saw that he corrected his hood, her own had fallen down and revealed her long brown hair and face. She was quite pretty, even if she mostly was out in the forest hunting.
"Well, I would need more arrows, food and other supplies". Maybe a new thick shirt since her uncle probably lived in the north, it was colder there, maybe even snow. Was he going to just pay for it? THen she would have everything she needed. And then, she would head out. THe more she thought about it, now when she was a bit calmer she realized that it wasn't too good. There had been more skilled hunters than here that had tried to take down her uncle but died instead. He was good with his weapons and had a lot of men that served him. "So you're just gonna get me that?" she asked and lowered her bow completly.

"If that'll get you off my back, yes." Chal started but smiled like the true Don Juan he is. "I know the smith in a town a bit north of here, he can fix arrows and sharpen your blades." Chal replied and started walking again, he didn't actually care about it. He had money to go around. Chal knew where to go and that smith didn't hate him... no, he didn't actually. Chal knew him and the smith knew Chal. Especially since the smith was part of Chals crew, meaning that he couldn't even give him to the authorities. Chal would get the smith in chains before the smith could forge another blade. "There's also a couple of general goods stores. But you probably know that already." Chal continued and barely waited for Ms. Hothead to catch up.

"Well, let us go to town then!" Catalina smiled a bit as well, and tried to ignore his smile. Now when she didn't wanna capture him or felt irritated his charms started to affect her. Dammit. Why had he have to be so charming? She was weak to any charms or flirts. She started walking after him and put her bow on her back but still had a arrow in her hand, as a weapon. If he tried something she would be prepared. "Greath, my daggers aren't the best" she said. THey needed to be sharpend. She didn't wanna get new since she have had the current ones for a time, she had gotten used to them.
"Well, I saw them when I passed through the town" she said. She had stopped in one to buy some food, break was a nice thing to bye, and dried meat. She could dry it herself, or smoke it, but it took longer time she had been very hungry. She continued to walk, she was beside him but kept a bit of a distance, she didn't really trust him.

"They usually go dull if you use them to cut up animals, Ms. Hothead." Chal replied and looked at her with a slight smile, still that teasing charm being used. However Chal wasn't sure if he used it to put her off or to get her pissed off again. He had to admit that she was pretty cute when she boiled up. He turned around fully though. Therefore walking backwards.
"It doesn't sound like you live 'round here, but maybe ya do?" He said and he had this southern accent, Chal was infamous all over but he was originally from the south. That's why he had this horrible southern accent as well when he spoke. Not permanently and he could stop talking with it too... if he wanted too. Which meant that in some places Chal was known for speaking like the noblemen and others like a farmers boy. "Oh, I know, maybe ya just aren't much for townfolk, love?" He used the nicknames only to annoy her. To him it was just some kind of play, a little game to be played with him to push the buttons. He some idea to what she thought of and Chal kind of enjoyed how it must make her feel. Unless his charms didn't get to Ms. Hothead, that wouldn't be the first time. Chal was pretty used to getting hit over the head, smacked to the floor or chased out of taverns because of his shameless charms. He was pretty carefree considering his career path. "Yeah, that's true" she said but gritted her teeth when he called her Ms. Hothead. God, he was annoying and charming. Not her lucky day exactly. But she still felt warm inside when he called her names, like love and dollface. She wasn't too used to compliments, she hadn't gotten any in a while.
"Nope, I live far from here. I have traveled for some months. I lived close to the sea". And the sea was really far away now. They where closer to the mountains now. "And I travel all the time, I would have probably taken off soon". SHe didn't stay long ono each place, she wanted to see the world and hunt. "Well, I prefer being in the forest, hunting, alone" she said and turned around her head a bit so he wouldn't see how she melted a bit on the inside. Curse him. She felt annjoyed and charmed at the same time. She continued to walk, a bit faster than him now until she looked normal again. He probably knew what he was doing, just playing with her. She didn't like those types of men. But she was till affected by them.

"So then ya will be happy when I'm gone again, won'tcha, sweetheart?" Chal turned after her as she walked past him. He was grinning, he didn't care at all. There were a lot names he could use. She was pretty, really pretty actually. His eyes were glowing a little in the dark and he was in the company of a beautiful woman. A beautiful woman who doesn't actually want him though, for anything else but the bounty. However... plenty women had. Some men as well, Chal did get a lot more company when he didn't have his bloody ears and tail though. If only he could've kept his senses without the aesthetic mistakes. Fuck, he'd just have to deal with it for a little longer. His life was shorter as well, but damn he'd done some amazing heists with these abilities. It was worth it in the end... he just had one thing, right? One last heist to rule them all. However he had to figure out what that heist would be. Back to his superficial needs. Like the name of the huntress in the woods.
"What's ya name anyway, cutie? Unless you want a infamous thief like me to keep saying sweet nothings, precious." He smiled and he had this evil, diabolically teasing smile. However some kind of desire had woken up in his cold heart; he wanted to see her smile. That's innocent enough to steal, right? "Give the Maker my regards." - Humorous Hawke 20 dec, 2014 21:13 |

"Yes. Very happy" Catalina said and continued to walk. She could easily tell that he was playing with her, just teasing her, maybe even tried to make her angry. It made her irritated, and almost angry. But the charming also calmed her down a bit, just keeping her irritated and melting on the inside. She quickly looked over her shoulder at him for some second before she turned her face forward again. He was quite handesome, and that only made it worse. God. Why did she even think that? It was what he wanted her to think. He was charming her, trying to get her to melt completly and when she had done that he would just laugh at her.
She just continued to walk she didn't realize it but she was clenching her fists. And she still gritted her teeth. She turned her head around when he asked for her name and actually blushed at his smile and words. But she quickly shook her head, a bit angerly and tired to get it away. "My name is Catalina". She didn't bother with her last name, he would probably have guessed it anyway since she was related to Moldus. She turned around her head again and continued to walk, it was a bit of a walk to the village. And she was all alone with him. And he would probably just keep teasing her. Should she try to shut him out completly? But her weak side didn't want that.

"I'm Chal but since you were hunting my bounty I guess ya knew that." Somehow he got stuck on the "Cat"-part of her name. Cat... Hothead The Cat? He chuckled to himself, he thought it was a good joke. However he was pretty sure she wouldn't like it, he was pretty sure about that. Cat... That was a cute nickname. It should be something sweet, like Kitty instead. However...
"It kinda fits you, Kitty." It just kind of slipped out, ah, whatever. You never get used to him anyway. Also, as quick as he paid for it all he'd be going south and she'd be going north. He just remembered that Chal wasn't his real name... however it fit him better than Damien Wilkins. Ugh. Think about the horrid tales that would be told about him! "Damien Wilkins and that one time he stole a jewel." It just didn't sound as great as "Chal - the masterthief who stole the legendary necromancers heart!" Yes, that's how he wants to be remembered. Not as Damien Wilkins. Disgusting. "A gorgeous name for stunning woman." He continued, he didn't want to give her any ideas of him running out of silly compliments.
