New generation benders

Herkio watched Ela pick up Eis and was a bit suprised, but faintly smiled. He knew Eis would be okay atleast. He hoped she wasn't hurt. But he was. He felt his hands burn, hopefully he would be able to heal it all, or his hands would never be the same. He felt how Bipin and Ela pulled him up and he tried to stand on his own, but it wasn't his feet that was hurt so it went fine. He slowly walked, a bit behind them.
"Water" he just mumbled. He had spilled all of his water out when he had fallen. And he didn't wanna bend more blood. He had done it so much..He felt horrible. He was quiet until he saw the water. Without any more wore words or actions he ran the last bit and jumped in. Well in the water his hands started to glow and soon he was healed. He stayed under for a bit longer before he finally went up, now smiling.
"Come on, I can heal you guys". He brought up some water and went to Ryuu first and healed his cut before looking at the others. "Anyone else that needs this?" he wodndered.

"I'm okay, Bipin?" Hye said and turned to Bipin who had sat down and he looked up at her and smiled a bit.
"Nah, it's okay. I'd like to learn that healing trick, though." He said jokingly as Ryuu splashed down into the water and therefore splashing all over them. When he jumped up again he was smiling like a fool
"Thanks, Herkio! I think you even fixed the last of my hangover." He laughed as Bipin managed to seemingly bend some water into his face. "Hey! Hey! If we're going to have a splashfight I forbid waterbending! It's cheating!" He said and wagged his finger like an old grandma. Hye blew some air in his face making him fall over again. He came right back up. "I hate all of you, sometimes, you're no fun... but she might need some healing." As he said the very last part of his statement he had a chocked expression and Ela turned to see Akane struggle out of the woods to the water.

Akane was a few meters off to them. She hadn't even seen them as she fell on her knees in the water and coughed blood. She was splashing water onto her wounds trying her very best to get them clean as she kept spitting blood into the water. The blood ending up in her hair, on her clothes... everywhere and anywhere. She had people to save from certain doom... she didn't have time for dying. Not until Daya, Ikal, Katsu are saved... and now she knows where they are... the ship by the city harbor. It was going to Republic City and Akane wasn't about to lose her brothers and sisters to something as stupid as the damn Presidents psychopathic traits.

(( I have no idea what to write in the other one, I'm so sorry damn it. Dx I'll try to figure something out. ))

Herkio faintly smiled and fell back into the water again. He felt better in it, his wound where healed but he was still very tired. He closed his eyes as he float on his back in the water. "Well, I can try to teach you to bend" he mumbled. "But not everybody can learn to do it, just a few are blessed with healing, but I guess since you're the avatar you have it in you". He got some water over him as well but just laughed, it felt great on his face. He stopped floating and started to wash himself a bit so all the dirt and blood went away.
"Well, maybe we wanna cheat then" he laughed adn stood up as he bended a big wave that splashed over all of them, making Hye and Ela wet as well. Eis flew up from Ela's shooulder and flapped her wings to get off the water. "Sorry Eis" he smiled and she just landed on the grass a bit away, she didn't like water too much. Herkio continued to bend some, but didn't hit them with it. He made some small waves and wirls in the water until he saw Akane.

He watched her worried, saw her couch up blood and try to clean her wounds. He sighed before he went to her. "Sit still, I will heal you": He got her hands away from her wounds before he bended up water and put it over her wounds. Soon they where healing up. "There you go" he mumbled and looked at he. He kinda liked her, maybe because she had shown interest in him, even if she was a maneater. After her wounds where healed he took up more water and helped herself get clean before he let himself fall into the water again, under it he started to swim around and looked at the fished that tried to avoid them.

"Why the hell are you still around?" Akane said almost angrily.
"Isn't the real question what you're doing around here?" Bipin coounter-asked. "And why were you wounded?" He continued and Akane splashed up on the shore.
"Of the same reason you were... or not really. We had a group of her kind after us." Akane replied and wrung out water out of her clothes and tried to comb blood out of her hair.
"We?" Ela asked and Akane turned to her with a tired look.
"Yeah, Ikal, Daya and Katsu." She continued and she saw the fright in her eyes.
"You were allowed to leave?" Ela asked and Akane burst out laughing.
"Nah, your escape managed to open a window so that others could run too. Now afterwards I kinda wish I would've stayed." Akane replied and started walking.
"Why were you attacked by some bounty hunter then?" Ryuu asked as he was still drenched and still in the water probably trying to catch or scare Herkio... or maybe avoiding the waterbender.
"Same reason you people were, expect they got caught and I'm going to save them." Akane said and lifted her hand and waved a little.

"You can't save them on your own when you basically got destroyed just a few minutes ago." Bipin said and reached out to stop her.
"How much will you be able to help? You couldn't even get Kauri down. Kauri is infamous for never, ever actually gotten any higher bounties than tiny pickpockets." Akane said hitting his hand away.
"I'm the avatar, it's my job to help." Bipin replied and looked at Akane who just threw out her arms with a sigh.
"Whatever you want, they're at the docks and I'm going to get them out or die trying." Akane said with a charming smile before she started walking again. Bipin turned to his new friends.
"Come on, we need to at least know why they want to drag certain people off to Republic City and what's going to happen when they get there." Bipin said, wanting to persuade them... quickly. He wasn't backing down.

Herkio sighed when she sounded angry. "A 'Thank you for saving me from death' would have been nice" he mumbled but nodded to what Bipin said. What where she doing there? She had tried to fight Kauri. He looked up at all of them and sighed. He stood and watched her try to comb blood out of her hair. "More bounty hunters..Dosen't sound good" he said worried. Why where there so much bounty hunters around? He had traveled around for a year and just met a few but now they seemed to be everywhere. Was it because of the president? It sounded so weird that he would just forbidd some bendings. He could understand blood, but lava and breathbending? It was something weird going on.
"It is all so weird" he said and voiced his thoughts. "I mean, why forbidd more bendings? I understand blood, it have always been forbidden, but lava and breathbending and all those others. It dosen't make sense. Does the president want protests or something?".

He got out of the water and helped her up with a worried look on his face. "Well We can do something now, she had her beast that took us out, but they're gone now" he said and started to stretch his back, the poison was still in his body. "Well we will help her" he said to Bipin. Because nobody deserved to get into prison for such a weird cause. He started to walk after her. "Hey wait, we're gonna help". He didn't really seem to care that the others hadn't answered yet.

"Geez, the bloodbender was a healer then?" Kauri thought out loud as she had been watching them from a distance. Kauri wasn't much for bending and therefore she had bandaged herself up and taken some pain-killers she had been given off the street. Basically drugs and they weren't really top-notch but since they erased her pain and really any physical pain or needs overall. She could therefore not care less about her wounds. They were bandaged, it should be allright. Now she kind of wished she would've just tried to befriend them. Also, the flying monkey was still with her... she should give him back to his owner. Kauri had a feeling the tiny cutie was used to flying free so that's probably why the airbender hadn't noticed he was gone yet.
"Hey, Gaman, I'll go into town by myself, allright?" She told the large creature and gestured accordingly. Pointing towards the town and then just to herself. The beast couldn't see it of course but Kauri usually did something stupid just to make it look a little less scary that her only friend is a blind animal. She placed her hand above his nose and Gaman sniffed.
"Now, stay out of range for any hunters, mmkay?" Kauri continued and hugged Gaman before securing her weapons and snatching the bag with the monkey inside before leaving her trusty friend behind to follow the group.

Hye thought about it, she knew Katsu was a firebender and probably also a combustion-bender. Or maybe just a combustion-bender. Ikal was a bloodbender and that could mean that Daya is either a lavabender like Ela or... a breathbender. Hye had only met a breathbender once before, they were rare considering that the first ever documented murdered the Earth Kingdoms queen and almost Avatar Korra. That breathbender wanted to teach Hye his ways but got locked up before he could. Maybe Daya was her one shot at getting the breathbending skill. Marvelous.
"I'm in." Hye said just as Ela agreed to it. Hye smiled innocently as she didn't really want anybody to know what she was planning.
"I'm with you!" Ryuu said and got to shore with splashing steps. "Let's go be heroes." He continued and raced up to Bipins side. Akane let out a deep but troubled sigh and Hyr just shrugged.
"Hye The Breathbender!" Yeah, that sounded awesome.

Eis flew down to Herkio again and he reached out his arm and Eis landed on it. He slowly petted the little, white bird. It seemed really fragile and weak in his hands, but he knew the bird could be dangerous even if it didn't seem like it. She could pick out eyes and other such things even if she was a bit weaker than other birds due to the wing she hurt years ago. It was still acting up. But it was much better than when he first had found her. He had been out fishing when he heard something. He had gone to land and noticed the white bird in the snow, with a broken wing. He remembered how confused he had been since doves didn't live in the cold, but he had taken care of her and ever since she had followed him wherever he went. She was like his angel that protected him. He loved his bird.
He smiled when the others said yes and continued to walk. He wanted to help the others, even if he didn't like them to much they didn't deserve to get locked up. And he knew Ikal could use bloodbending. Herkio didn't wanna use it, but now he already had and maybe...just maybe he could use some training. So he didn't hurt anyone if he used it. He had to ask him when they had free'd them. Even if he wasn't too eager on doing it.

He was quiet when they walked, Eis jumped up to his shoulder and seemed very content with sitting there and he just thought about the bloodbending. He had sworn to never use it. But he had done it anyway. He felt bad, but at the same time relieved that they knew about it, because sooner or later it would have to come out. He turned around to them. "Guys, I'm sorry I didn't tell you about the...bloodbending" he mumbled. "I was just so scared of it. And I hated myself for it. I have been thaught that it's wrong my whole life. I don't wanna use it".

"It proved pretty useful, though, didn't it? I mean, you haven't used it on us." Ryuu said with a smile and a shrug and Ela shrugged along with him. She had grown up with them, any kind of bender she probably knew one of them too. However when she met the judgemental gaze of Hye she got really, really unsure of herself. What?
"Ah, you might've lost it a bit this morning." Her tormentor suddenly snickered close to her ear and Ela turned her head to meet the gaze of the spirit who suddenly had her arm around Ela and kissed her cheek with a giggling laugh. Ela had since long figured that it was a custom from when the spirit... was alive or something. Ela wasn't even sure if the spirit was... alive once. However Ela couldn't really wrap her head around what the spirit had meant so she deliberately slacked behind a couple steps.
"What?" She mumbled under her breath.
"Oh I might've figured out the way of taking your fragile little mind over, my little vessel." The spirit snuggled up to her as if Ela was some kind of pet. "And I might have told your little water-bender about his double-morale." She continued snickering. "I understand why you like him though, I mean he's quite the hunk isn't he, and a lot nicer than Ikal." She said and Ela wanted to sink below ground since the spirits words made her feel all queasy and weird. "You did get really pissed off about Akane kissing him, didn't you?" The spirit was just spewing out everything it hadn't been able to say until now. "Maybe you wished it was you?" The spirit said and popped up on the other side of Ela who shook her head slightly, ignoring the spirit and rushing up to the others again. What the hell had she said? Had she hurt Herkio?
"Of course I did!" The spirit shouted and Ela just managed to avoid cringing as her stomach turned. She felt sick now, damn it. What had she done?

Herkio slowly nodded even if he really didn't feel that way. He still felt bloodbending was wrong, something bad. And he hated himself for using it at Siku, even if she almost deserved it. She had kidnapped him once, almost forced him to marry her and would have tried it again if he hadn't done something. But still. She was going to tell everybody now and get him to prison for sure. She probably hated and feared him now. Every waterbender hated bloodbenders, everyone did.
"Ah, come on" his spirit said as it walked in front of him. He hadn't seen him in a while now, but he guessed he would never be free from him. "They don't hate you here. Even if they maybe should" it laughed and it just made Herkio feel even worse. "But I guess...How Ela reacted before she must hate you" it continued. He just wanted it to shut up but he couldn't do anything about it. "But she was right about you. You hate bloodbenders but you are one yourself".
Herkio gritted his teeth and tried to ignore it but it was impossible. He couldn't shut it out, he was too weak and it just continued to mock him and make him feel bad. "And now maybe she is never going to like you again. You made her pretty angry" it laughed and it felt like he had a big stone in his chest. Maybe it was true. "It's true. She hates you. And the others too. They're just too scared to admit it". The spirit came closer to him as it talked.
Herkio closed his eyes hard and put his hand over his ears but he could still hear it. "They all hate you...". And that was enough for Herkio. "Stop it! Shut up! Shut up!" he yelled out loud without realizing everybody could hear it. The spirit just laughed and actually disappeared. Herkio sunk down to the ground and covered his face with his hands. But some of his cheeks where still visible and more tears where running down his face. "Just...Just leave me alone" he said to the spirit and still didn't know that the others had heard him. "I know they hate me. But I don't wanna know it. I hate myself enough already". The water drops on the grass around him slowly turned into ice.

Akane stared up into the sky as Herkio started screaming and she sighed as loudly as she could. She was in a hurry, she didn't have time for these brats playing around. Of course, Akane had since long realized that there was spirits involved with him too. However she'd rather just scream at Ela for the moment.
"What the hell did you tell him?!" Akane said, rushed past Herkio and grabbed Elas shirt and pulled her up to her feet. Akane was a lot stronger than she looked, Ela might be stronger but for the moment Ela just seemed really confused.
"I didn't..." Ela said but trailed off and Akane rolled her eyes.
"No, of course. You didn't, wow..." Akane dropped her and Ela manged to stumble herself to still standing position.
"You're suppose to have a connection the the spiritworld so that these kinds of things doesn't happen." Akane said angrily and walked off again.
"But since two fifths of your crew are unstable maniacs, one has a hero-complex, one is a jokester and the last is so quiet that she could be planning to rule the world I'll just fucking save my friends on my own." Akane continued and was literally so pissed off that she couldn't even bother to be charming.

Ela dropped to the ground.However Ela was more interested in helping Herkio as she knelt down before him.
"Whatever I said, I lied, no one here hates you and there is no reason to be afraid of you." Ela said calmly, loudly. "You're not dangerous, I've seen blood-bending tyrants and you're not one of them." Ela continued. "You've never hurt anyone with it and if you did it was because you absolutely needed to." Ela kept going even though her spirit was pretty much screaming in her ear. However... Akanes little rant had made her kind of... she was shutting it out. "There's nothing dangerous with you and no one here hates you. If we thought you were an actual danger we would have done something. You're just a good guy with an untrained power." Ela kept going really wanting to calm him down. Ela tried to drown out Akanes ranting as well.
"Really, you're no horrible bloodbender and your not trying to... like block off the entire bending worlds bending... like Amon." Hye said and Ela literally just stared at her. "Sorry, I tried to cheer him up." Hye said really, really apologetic. Ryuu had just caught up with Akane and pulled her back.
"No one around here hates you, but Akane probably hates all of us by now." He said and Akane nodded in agreement.
