"Moldus Loree" she just said. She wa sure almost everybody had heard that name sometimes. He had killed so many and was almost famous around criminals. "I know he has a castle in the north mountains. But if you kill him I will let you go, and you can take whatever you want from his corpse". She didn't care. She didn't want any of his stuff.
"I'm sure you have heard of him sometime. He is probably the most famous man in my family right now". And her family was pretty well known. Everybody was hunters. She still held her bow even if she didn't aim at him now. BUt she still knew there was a chance he could just stab her in the back after accepting her offer. That was the last thing she wanted.

Whoever, Chal could've taken on anyone. Anyone, really. No, not really. Except Moldus Loree.
"Yeah, fire off an arrow immediately instead." He literally dropped to the ground and holstered his daggers. "Please hit the heart, I don't want to suffer and I think my corpse would look better without huge hole in my throat." Chal said and laughed. Actually it'd be kinda cool too die. He'd just disappear mysteriously and people would honor his legacy as the coolest masterthief of them all! "No one can kill Moldus anyway, if you could he'd be dead by now." He continued waiting for the arrow to hit him... hopefully in the chest. It'd be great, really. Hell can't be that bad, right? "Give the Maker my regards." - Humorous Hawke 14 dec, 2014 21:40 |

Catalina sighed a bit frustrated. "No, I won't kill you" she said and took a step closer again. "I just want him dead. You know what horrible things he have done. But it have to be possible to kill him!". She really wanted her uncle dead. "I will help you. I may even know some way to get his attention so we can kill him. I just need help with finding him and killing him". SHe could distract him. But she needed help.
"I maybe even know where he is" she said and thought about his castle in the north. Maybe she should try to go there. Maybe she didn't need this guy after all? "Hm..I have changed my mind. I can probably take care of him myself then. But I won't kill you".

"Wow, really?" Chal exclaimed happily, nothing holding him back then. He had no afflictions with her nor her uncle and with the second one he didn't want it either. Geez, he had just dodged multiple bullets with that statement. "Great. I believe in you, good luck." Chal continued as he bounced to his feet, he wasn't going to make her change her mind around. He didn't want or need anything else on his table right now. Plus, wherever she was going he was not, less problems that way. He didn't really want to be involved in the murder of Moldus and she could be the great heroine who did, he didn't need any of that action either. Wow, hopefully she'd just disappear and he could go on with his life as the thief he is, and he's good at being a thief too. A lovely, this all turned out really great. He fixed his holsters and pulled a little at his clothes as he started walking away. As he had already proven that killing him isn't that much of a problem so... she couldn't do much for him anyway.

Catalina rasied a eyebrow when he started to walk again. "Stop there! Who said that I was letting you go! I said I won't kill you" she said and raised her bow again and aimed at him. She shot, but didn't aim at him. The arrow flew just by his ear. "I still want that bounty for you" she said. If she was going to fight her uncle she needed some supplies and new gear. And for that she needed money. And he was worth a lot of money. She placed another arrow at her bow and aied at his head now.
"Come on, I haven't got all day". She hoped she didn't have to tie his arms or something like that. Couldn't he just follow her? She took another step closer. And just when she was about to say something else a arrow flew right pass her own ear, it almost hit her. She quickly turned around. A group of men came running against them. Another group of hunters. "Great" she mumbled before firing a arrow at them.

Chal took a sidestep to avoid the arrow she sent towards him.
"Well, you can get as much bounty for me dead. You just need to go a little more south." Chal said as the arrow flew past her and Chal smiled. An escape! Just in time. He grabbed one of his daggers and and stabbed one of the nearby trees as he climbed up it with the agility of what he's mixed with: a cat. To Chal it didn't really matter who brought him in, but he wasn't about to comply just like that. However doing the impossible is a big no-no. He grabbed the dagger as he went up the tree, he made sure he never left his weapons behind. He lost his last shortsword that way, a sad day for him and his arsenal got one weapon smaller, sadly enough. He could both see and hear as the arrows shot through the trees leaves as Chal kept climbing. Wow, these hunters are really persistant these days. However you can make a bit of coin catching Chal. Most of his victims do want him alive, they want him hanged and showed as an example of what happens to thieves that steal from them. However, Chal recently stole from a noble south and he stole some ancient magical thing. That noble wanted him in whatever condition, he almost prefered Chal to be dead. Chal still had the jewel though, it was a great light to have at night as it glowed in the shadows. A little odd maybe, but it did. It was pretty nice. Catalina smiled coldly when her arrow hit one of the hunters right in the head. She quickly lined up another arrow and shot one of the hunters with bow. There where two hunters that had bows left and two with swords. But no one off them seemed to be so good at handeling any weapons. They continued to run towards her, or atleast the two with swords. She quickly rolled away when they tried to attack her with the swords before she shot one of them. She then quickly turned around and shot the other hunter that had a bow. Now it was just one left with a sword. She decided not to waste any more arrows and instead pulled one of her long daggers. She waited until the man came close enough and tried to attack her again. She quickly ducked and came behind him before she stabbed the dagger right in his back. She quickly pulled it out again before she stabbed him in the throat, killing the man. She had killed all of the hunters by herself.
Catalina now turned around looking for Chal. She had seen them fire arrows at the tree so she looked up and aimed at him with her bow. "I warn you, I don't wanna kill you, but I can. Come down and follow me. If you're lucky, maybe whoever wants you don't kill him. Isn't it better to take the risk?" she wondered. Maybe she should forced him to come down? She aimed at his shoulder before she fired, really hoping he wasn't quick enough to move away.

Chal was quick enough, he knew she was going to fire the bloody arrow. Therefore he spun around the large trunk. The arrow hit the trunk though.
"Just go kill off your uncle instead, if you're so sure of yourself then get going already." Chal said from the tree as he jumped to the another one with the agility of a feline. He wasn't much for ground right now anyway. This one was taller, so Chal went higher. He wasn't to fond of getting a wrecked shoulder right now. If that happened he might as well slit his throat. "Just go for the lesser bounties in the area, there are a bunch of them!" He said before picking up a pouch of coins from his belt and made sure it didn't hold the jewel before throwing it down on the ground. "There's for taking care of the other bounty hunters, I'm surprised you can kill them off like nothing but not a guilty criminal." Chal laughed coldly and made sure to dodge any arrows sent his way. "You're quite the heroine aren'tcha dollface?" He laughed again, when you travel alone you learn to appreciate your own kind of cruelty. "Dammit!". Catalina quickly shot another arrow but he was too quick. She felt very irritated now and almost felt like killing him and just collect the bounty. But he was actually worth more alive than dead for the moment, and she was determined on getting him alive. "I'm gonna go and take care of him! But I need some money for gear" she said. And he was worth pretty much so she could buy a lot of new gear. She needed arrows, food and other things. She followed him from the ground when he jumped to another tree. She shot again, but due to her irritation towards him she wasn't as concentrated and it missed.
"I know. But I'm gonna collect yours" she said since she wasn't giving up. She saw how he threw something down and quickly jumped away. Was it coins? She took up some of them before gritting her teeth at him. "Well, they where attacking me as well, I had to kill them. But I want you alive". Even if she was aiming like she wanted to kill him now. She continued to follow him. "Don't call me that!". She started to lose her temper a bit. It was common that men called her things like that, dollface, beautiful and such things. And it often annoyed her since it came from drunk men. She shot some arrows at him and stared at him with an angry gaze.

(( I think I figured out a good way to do it! Haha.
"Damn, you're a firey one aren'tcha? What else can I call you, Hothead?" She was hotheaded, so that's what Chal will name her. "I'll tell you what, firing all your arrows at me won't make the ones you gotta buy any cheaper." Suddenly he jumped down so that he ended up in front of her and placed his dagger in a position where he could easily cut the bows string off, which would render it useless. He landed on his feet, like any feline would. His eyes glowed ever so slightly when he looked at her and as he smiled you could see his pointy corner teeth. Both on the lower row of teeth and the upper. A part of his little deal with the witches. Of course it had its down as well, like that he was going to die sooner than other humanoids. However he's planning on going when in action. "But that won't matter if I destroy your bow, will it? And don't pull out your bloody daggers I'm so used to close-combat that I'll cut your hand off before you even get close to me." His agility and shortened reaction-time could be the real reason there... but he was used to close-combat. Why would he need to lie about something like that? "Just chill out a lil' and tell me why ya need to kill Moldus and I'll get'cha the money without anyone of us losin' anything dear to us." He was thinking about the jewel but realized that he'd rather keep his life than some damn jewel. "Give the Maker my regards." - Humorous Hawke 16 dec, 2014 23:09 |
