In the deep blue ocean(PRS)

Matthew reached out his hand.
"wait don't go!" he yelled
But suddenly the bearded sailor yelled at him.
"Matthew! you have work to do and for the love of god. don't scare away the fish" the man was angry
"but there was a mermaid..." says Matthew without thinking.
"hah there is no such thing called mermaids. That is just a story for small kids" says the man laughing.
Matthew becomes both angry and relived that the man didn't believe him.
"she was so beautiful thou ... I ques I will never see her again"said Matthew with a sigh.

The mermaid swam away to her rock. It was close, but she doubted that anyone could see her. She started singing, looking over at the man she waved at. Watching him closley. She sighed, and sang along.

Matthew continued with his work day dreaming about the beautiful yet mysterious Mermaid. what is her name? where did she come from. Matthew started to get allots of thoughts. He glared up to the sky and noticed that the sun was behind clouds and they where all orange and that could only mean one thing. it would soon be night. He watched the beautiful sunset.
The other sailors walked inside the boat and started to play with cards.

She watched as all of the sailors went inside, all of them besides the man Meredith saw erlier. She swam closer to the boat. Looking at him, and singing to draw attention to herself.

Matthew stopped watching the sunset when he heard a beautiful voice he looked down into the water and saw the mermaid again he smiled.
" you are a beautiful singer " says Matthew with a big smile "your voice is like listening to angelic music "

Meredith smiled, but continued singing. She looked at the man, awestruck. She wished that she could get closer to him. If only she had those sticks, she thought. The mermaid couldn't stop looking at the man. Her eyes was glued to him.

"is your name beautiful like you are ? whats your name ?" asks Matthew stil smiling.

The mermaid stopped singing.
"My name is Meredith", she said, looking at the boy. "What's your name, landboy?". She had never talked to a landboy before.

"my name is Matthew Wilson. I'm well the cleaner I guess " said Matthew embarrassed.

"What is a kleener?", meredith asked, confused.
