New generation benders

Herkio just hugged her harder. He didn't want her to cry, he hated the sound of anyone crying. Even when he had been little he hadn't cried much just because he hated even himself crying, or the sound. It was heartbreaking and wanted to make him cry as well, a little bit ironic. He continued to hug her, she didn't answer his question, but he still wanted to know what was wrong.
He froze when he heard Bipins words and turned around and let Ela go. "What?!" he asked shocked, and almost a big angry. He continued to listen and his eyes got big. "What the...That's why you asked me!" he said and turned around to her. "No, you don't have to do it!" he said and felt how the alcohol and whatever had been in it, real powers begun to kick in.

He heard Ikal and turned to him. "You bastards! You don't have to sacrifice her! Why don't you just move or kill the firebirds? Is that so hard?!" he asked when Ikal bended his blood. His eyes got wide open and his mouth as well. Blood bending it was forbidden, horrible. "Just let her go!". He could still talk but couldn't move any muscle in his body. He felt how his eyelids started to become heavy from the drugs and soon he was passed out and fell to the ground.

Bipin stared at Ikal as he was forced to the ground. He tried his best to get out of the damn bloodbending. Bipin was barely at the party he had stalked the adults as they sneaked off. Listening in on the conversations.
"Quit it, Ikal! You're hurting them!" Ela shouted as Ikal tried his best to force them down. Bipin hadn't had a single drink... meaning that he didn't have the drugs in his body. However... Bipin didn't want to be drugged either so he fell to the ground. Pretending to pass out and therefore also scraping up his elbows and his hands when he caught himself. He did see Ela rush up to Ikal and felt the compulsion drop as he closed his eyes.

"Ela! Ela!" Ikal tried to calm her down as she tried to hit him. She was still crying, because she knew she was going to die now. She was sobbing as she dropped to her knees... sniffled and cried. She cried like a small child. Ikal pulled her up so that she stood straight again and tried to give her support but Ela was devoted to the thought that if they could get her up there she wouldn't have to die so she sank again. Ikal just tried to pull her up to her feet.

Bipin heard Ela crying it was a destructive sound... he didn't like crying.
"We've chained the other two up." A voice said from behind Bipin.
"Take these two as well then." Ikal replied and Bipin felt himself getting pulled up from the ground and then dragged back to the large house which was the party-locale. Bipin felt his right hand get shackled. He kept his eyes closed until the moment he heard Ikals voice again.
"There you go, you can't get out of the chains anyway so since I've speeded up your blood-circulation so that the drugs would go quicker out of your system." He said and Bipin opened his eyes and met Ikals blue. "Your bison will get released after the sacrifice, have a blast people." Ikal said, rose from his squatting position and left the room.

Herkio was just passed out. The drug where in his blood and had full effect now. That and his muscles wouldn't answer to him since Ikal had used the forbidden bending on him, the shock that anybody would do that, and rage and confusision took out their right. And that he had been drunk wasn't helping to much either.
He was passed out even when they got chained with the others. But soon after Ikal went away he moaned and opened his eyes. "My head...I shall never drink again" he mumbled and expected to be in his bed when his hands where stopped by the chains. "What the!". He then remembered it all, even if he had a hangover. "Ela!" he said outloud and tried to get loose when he noticed Bipin next to him. "Bipin! We have to help her, we can't just let them sacrifice her!" he said and tried to reach his water bag. But he couldn't get to it since it was closed and he couldn't move his hands to much. "We...we have to save her" he mumbled and sunk down again. He couldn't just let her die for some stupid firebirds. He then got an idea, Bipin was stuck as well but he had heard of something..."Bipin! Please, can't you use your avatar state if you can reach it? Then you can get loose, or just do something, please" he said and sounded panicked.

"There you are!". The horrible but familiar voice of Siku could be heard and she entered the room with a big smile. "Oh I have looked for you so much!" she laughed and got to him and fell down on her knees. She caressed his cheek. "As soon as this sacrifice thing is over I'm gonna bring you back so we can get married" she spun with her bittersweet smile. He just starred at her and couldn't believe his eyes. Not again.

Ela was panicking, with all right since she was getting dragged up to the mountain by Hal who nicely enough had drugged her so that she couldn't fight as much she'd liked.
"No, no, no." She begged and tugged at the chains, they had actually chained her now. If she struggled too much she got they lifted her. She was bloody all over as she tripper over her own feet as she kept screaming and yelling to be saved. She didn't want to.
"Shut it, child! You're about to save your whole family!" A non-bending woman named Lula said and tugged even more on the cuffs as she said this.
"Please, please, let me go! There has to be another way, please!" She begged and she kept on before someone finally got sick of it and covered her mouth in metal. However Ela kept crying, doing whining noises and screaming as far as she could. There was blood all over her torn clothes by now and it hurt like hell.

"Oh, please." Akane said angrily as she had noticed the little damn waterbender sneaking in. She grabbed the stupid princess' hair and pulled her head back as the princess started to bitch and moan. Akane threw her on the ground and placed a foot on her throat. "She's even bitcher than I am." Akane said and let her weight down on the struggling girl. Akane shook her head and therefore her hair fell graciously down her neck.
"Hey! Hey! We weren't going to fucking murder her!" Katsu, a firebending boy, said rushing up to Akanes side.
"You sure? I think that's what Ikal said." Akane replied heartlessly and she let even more of her weight on the stupid bitch's neck. However Akane wasn't really going to kill her, just make her pass out so that people didn't need to hear her bitch and moan like a little fucking piglet.

Herkio seemed to be frozen. "No, not you again!" he moaned and tried to turn his head around so he wouldn't have to see her. She took out a hairpin out of her hair and started with one of his chains but just as she had gotten it open and was starting with the other then he heard another voice, Akane? Was all the woman that had ever wanted him here? It was hell.
He watched Akane drag Siku back in her hair, almost enjoying the view. But the feeling disappear as she put her foot on her throat. He was about to tell them to stop when he remembered his hand where free. Quickly he opened up his water bag and bended it out and shot it against Akane, on her feet so she fell. Then he used it on the firebender, giving him a hard whip so he fell down as well. He then destroyed his other chain with the water before taking off the others chains as well. Siku was crying and the floor and when he walked past she tried to stop him. He just shook of fher hand and ran outside, he needed to stop this.

Ikal was beginning to feel doubt. Was this really the best thing to do? He didn't wanna see Ela dead, not at all. He walked up to their father. "Please father, there must be another way" he said. "I mean...sacrificing her mother didn't work to well, what makes it better this time?" he said. And just when he had said that a shout could be heard, from Herkio, he was running up the moutain, with the water ready in his hands. He was going to save her.

He hit the man that dragged her with it and then towards the non bending woman. It gave him a moment to turn to Ela. "I will save you, I promise". He cut of her cuffs with the water and then turned so he could face her father and Ikal, he was ready with his water. "You're a horrible, horrible man. Kill your daughter.." he said angirly, the hangover gave fire to his anger as well.

"You don't understand, do you?" Father asked coldly. "I sacrifice what I love most to save everything that has been built to protect those nobody cares for." He continued before taking the very cuffs he had just cut off from his daughter and placing them on his hands. "I know how your kind looks at people like Ikal, placing the gifted in prison because of one tiny forbidden talent." He continued harshly. "Don't you remember, Ikal? How every single person that you tried to get help from denied you?" Ikal stared at the ground when Father spoke. "Blood bending is far more useful than you can imagine, child." He continued and stared at the waterbender. He knew how his daughter looked at this certain one. His daughter had to die, he had been telling himself this since the damn spirit decided to come back and haunt his daughter. His wife and Elas mother was a fine woman, a beautiful woman with a heart of gold.
"We need to hurry, they'll come soon." Akil, an eartbender, said and stared stressed. He was also the one that had grabbed Ela when she had been freed from her cuffs. Since she still had metal over her mouth she couldn't say anything. Ela felt as if her arms was going to be crushed, Akil was one of the strongest people in the tribe. She couldn't get focused, she didn't know where to go, she felt like throwing up, she couldn't bend because she couldn't concentrate at all. However she did try to tell them to leave Herkio alone, he didn't deserve this. She should've just ran back in the beginning. However it all got interrupted as a huge bird screech echoed all over the village.

Herkio was furious as he continued to hear the fathers words. "Why can't you just move? You may have lived here for many years but if it's between killing your daughter and moving you should really move he said, still ready with his water. He could take down every single person her just to save Ela.
"Blood bending is forbidden, it's an awful talent, nad you don't have to use it, but it can't be used for good" he said lowly. Blood bending was a dark chapter in the water bending history. Most of them swore to never even try it, but some sank to a level and used it.
"Let her go! Or I will force you to do it!" he was about to use his water again when someone grabbed him as well. Another earth bender, not as strong as Akil but strong enough. "Shut it, I will crusch your hands otherwise".
Herkio starred at her father as the huge bird screech could be heard. "Kill the birds, or run, but don't kill a innocent woman". Nothing seemed to be able to help. Just when he tried to get loose again the earthbender let him go, the same thing with Akil. Behind them where now Bipin and up in the air, Pema, Hye and Ryuu. He quickly went over to Ela and got away the metall from her mouth before Pema landed. He lifted her up in his arms and got her up on Pema and Bipin got up to. Herkio had just gotten up as well when he felt something hit his back. It was a knife, made out of stone that one of the eartbenders had sent into his back. He just fell into Pema and he quickly lifted and was beginning to fly away to leave while the world spinned for Herkio and he closed his eyes.

It all happened so quick that Ela couldn't process it all in time. However she did manage to do something. She saw the earthshard that was sent towards Herkio. She wasn't completely up to date so she managed to slow it down. If it was her father or actually any of the elders they could easily go right through. She saw Akane running up the mountain, seemlingly ready to at any second. However she was far more interested in getting the earthshard out of Herkios body.
"Why didn't you tell us?" Hye exclaimed suddenly and seemed really insulted by this. "I heard it after Ikal got me drugged when he told me everything about the sacrifice and the drugs and I couldn't tell anyone in time." Hye said and seemed incredibly stressed by this. Bipin was just controlling Pema right now... getting away from the bird probably. Ryuu was off in a corner of Pemas saddle staring into nothing.
"I know, I know, my fault." Ela replied with a weak voice and she got the shard out. It didn't seem to have gone deep. She pulled his shirt of, merely to get to the wound properly and she didn't care about Hyes constant talking. She tore her more clean wrappings and tried her best to bandage the wound. She didn't want him to die... then that'd be her fault too.

Herkio's mind was spinning around and around. He was laying on his stomach and his breaths where slow and heavy. It was painful. He heard his spirit, it laughed at his pain. He felt Ela take out the shard and he gritted his teeth so he wouldn't make any sound.
He heard them talk and felt her starting to wrap up his wound. Slowly he lifted his head and looked up at her. "No, it isn't your fault" he mumbled and got out his water again, he wasn't so good at healing but he could give it a try. He let it into his wound and soon it started to glow and a bit of it healed up. He sunk down against and quietly moaned in pain.

"Hye, just shut it." Ryuu said suddenly as Hye kept on talking and Hye complied while muttering under her breath. Ryuu turned his head towards the horizon again, not caring for anything else it seemed. Bipin stayed silent, concentrating.
"No, it isn't your fault" Herkio said and Ela remembered the fact that she had been crying like a small child just a few moments ago and therefore she dried her face, basically to get rid of it all. She hated crying, they should've just forced Pema to go another hundred meters or something so that they could've saved Herkio earlier. Ela straightened up a little.
"Just be still." Ela mumbled tugging the orange cloth that came with the clothes around her shoulders so that she wouldn't freeze to death. She needed go get new clothes, lucky for her they accessories on the clothes were pretty valuable.
