You wake up and get ready for school. You don't think it's that funny that you have to go back, but you like the thought of meeting your friends and not lay down in a bed with nothing to do all day.

You walk to school and happily see Karkat and Terezi. They're... kissing? You stare in shock at them.
"You're together?", you ask as you walk over to them.
"John didn't tell you?", Terezi says with an amused smirk.

You put your shoes and jacket on in a hurry, and start walking to school. Your dad is working, so he can't drive you.

You shake your head and see John .You wave at him.

You hesitate but then wave back, trying to fake a smile.

You smile back.

You start biting your lip, insecure of what to do. You have spent the past week with Dave, and he seems to be kind of fond of you. You don't know if it is because he is bored and has nothing to do or if he really likes you. Right now, you are kind of happy he doesn't know you well enough to read your face.

"So, what have I missed this... year?", you ask.

You bite your lip and feel a wave of melancoly. Then you look up at him, and smile. "Much. .You have NO idea"

"Can you tell me what?", you ask and smirk.

No, you didn't really miss much, actually. Some guys just tried to kill me by throwing me off a bridge. And yeah, right, I also tried to kill myself with a freaking razor. Oh, and did I forget to mention that you are my boyfriend?

"You kind of missed like, fifty tests and stuff" you say, shrugging.
