After what feels like forever, a doctor comes up to you and Dave's brother, who came here shortly after you. You can see he tries to look normal, but you can see that he is worried.

You immidiatly stand up and faces the doctor. He looks at you with a serious and.. pitying look? Does that mean.. Your whole body tenses and your eyes widen. "H-how is he?" You ask quietly. You bite your lip, afraid of the answer. He can't be...

"He's in a coma"

You look surprised at him. "W-What? "

"He hit his head badly, and he is in a coma." The doctor repeats. "Oh.." you mumble quietly, half relieved and half terrified.

It's like you're in a sea, drowning deeper and deeper.

*Time skip one month*
It has passed one month since the accident. You are currently sitting next to Dave's bed at the hospital. You do every day. You don't know what you are supposed to do without him. It hurts you so much, seeing him lying there, cold and still.

You start humming sadly, holding his hand. It takes a while until you realize that you are crying. You miss him so much.. If he could just wake up...

You are still in coma.

You suddenly feel the darkness disappear, and you slowly open your eyes, but close them directly. It's very bright. You open them again and soon your eyes get used to the brightness. You are in what you think is a hospital-room, and a couple of wires are connected to your body. You try to remember what happened, but you can't.

You spot your shades on a table next to your bed, and slowly reach out for them. You feel very stiff; like you've been laying here for a very long time. And that's when it hits you; maybe you have.

You are sitting in your living room, watching Sword Art Online. You think it's pretty good. Lately, you have started to watch a lot of anime. It kind of helps. You can think about somebody else's problems for once. Still, Dave never really leaves your mind.

Suddenly, your phone starts ringning and you slowly pick up. "Yeah?" You answer, your voice sounding tired and sad.

"Mr Strider is awake."
