Ania laughed a bit.
"That's true, but that doesn't mean I will win", she said as-a-matter-of-factly.
Ania looked at Chris and smiled a bit

You sigh deeply. "Sure, whatever you say.."
you mutter sarcastically.

**later that night**
Ania got up from the small chair and scooted over to where Chris was sitting
"I think it's dinner now", she said, looking at her wrist watch, and then up at her again. "Yes, it is dinner", Ania nodded her haid a bit.

"Kay" you say, shrugging.

"Do you want to sit with me?", Ania asked shyly

You look down, thinking. You usually sat alone, you guess because you're kind of antisocial and never really had any friends. But Anya? You guess it couldn't hurt. She seemed nice enough, you guessed.

"Sure" you say, shrugging again.

Ania broke out in a huge smile. "Thank you!", she said happily and started putting on her thin jacket to go out in.

You smirk at her and zip up your hoodie. "No problem"

Ania started walking towards the kitchen. When she got there, it was full of other kids maybe her age. She walked up and started picking her food. It smelled great, not at all like the food you'd get in school. Even better than at home.

You pick up one of the plates, and it's surprisingly clean. Not like super clean, but.. It's like a hundred times cleaner than at the orphanage. And the food smells kinda good, too.
