New generation benders

Herkio became quiet again and listened very carefully at what she said. Full moon? He could harness energy from it too. Under the light from the moon he became so strong he could possibly be. And after every full moon he felt so alive and strong, and that feeling lasted for days.
"Well, if it's full moon the spirit is not the only one that is stronger "he smiled and looked at them. "I can help with it, water is my element, maybe I can calm it down? Or atleast hold it down in the lake".

Ela turned her head towards him.
"I doubt you can keep it in the lake, if we're unlucky it is the lake." Ela said. "But it's worth a try." She replied and smiled slightly. She didn't really care as long as they could keep moving. She could... possibly calm the spirit down. However that probably needed hours of meditation first. She massaged the bridge of nose, she was annoyed at this as well.
"So we can do this?" Hye said suddenly. "We can like, save this town?" She continued happily. "We'll be like... superheroes!" She said and seemed starstruck by this fact.
"We'll be superheroes?" Ryuu said and smiled. "Girls like heroes, don't they?" He continued and smirked.
"Geez, really?" Ela asked and Ryuu laughed.
"It's a joke, you got to chill out." Ryuu said. "However being a hero sounds cool." He continued and nodded whilst smiling like an idiot.

Herkio raised his eyebrow and chuckled. "You don't seem to understand. When it's full moon..I can do almost anything with my bending, is like I'm a new person then. I'm alive" he said and sounded a bit dreaming. He loved the feeling so much and longed to the night.
"Yeah, ofcourse we can" he smiled and then laughed. But heroes sounded good, he wanted to help people. And this could be a great start for them. "Yeah, I like the sound of that too" he smiled and looked towards the river. "What about we stay at the river until it's night? Maybe I can teach Bipin some waterbending as well".

"You don't seem to understand, you can be as powerful as you want but if the spirit is made of water not even the avatar could bend it." Ela replied coldly. "Unless you call yourself better than Avatar Aang." She continued. She had heard the stories of Avatar Aang, she had heard stories of most the avatars. Not even them can bend a spirit. She didn't reply to the other statement and she didn't care for an answer either. She needed to meditate and the river was possibly a great place to at least try it.

"Yeah, waterbending!" Bipin said excited and jumped up on Pema again. "You want to fly there or are you going to walk?" He asked, he guessed that Ela who had already started waking away wasn't going to fly there.

Herkio sighed and put his arms over his chest and looked down at Ela. "I'm not calling myself better than anyone, I'm just saying that it's waterebenders night tonihgt. I can't hold it in the lake, but maybe I can try and stop it from destroying so much in the village atleast".
He then smiled to Bipin when he sounded excited and they where on they way to the lake. "I'm going to walk" he mumbled. He didn't wanna fly again for a while. But it wasn't too far away from the lake so soon they all where there. Herkio stepped into the lake again so the water was up to his hips before turning to Bipin. "Do you know anything about waterbending?".

"I... no... not really. I was going to learn some healing later on but I never got to it." Bipin replied and smiled awkwardly.

Hye was doing some kind of airsurfing with Pema and the still-tied and very unhappy Popo up in the air. Ryuu was swimming around, kind of. He was splashing around and sometimes diving... swimming around then. However since Ela didn't trust that she'd be able to dodge water from the avatar, an air-surfing madwoman and Ryuu who will attack her if he gets the chance. So what does Ela do? She bends herself a small earth-tent. She basically closes herself in and a sunray tells her that there is a hole in it. She'll be able to meditate and breathe now... which is good. She was sitting down with her legs crossed and started breathing calmly. She places her knuckles against eachother whilst her arms were resting on her legs. She kept breathing calmly, closed her eyes properly and before she knew it she was in the spirit world.

Herkio smiled at him and waved to him to step in the water as well. "Okay, maybe it will be a bit hard then just in the beginning, it's a lot different from firebending, I think". Water and fire didn't mix to well together. When they both where in the water he started to teach him how to think, how to move, how to feel like you're the one controlling the water.
He then showed him some more waterbending before Bipin got to try it. "So, give it a go" he smiled.

( Go ahead and control the people, I don't know what they're up to. xD )

Ela opened her eyes just to be met by a very colorful forest. She looked around and her heart was beating like ad inside her chest. She hasn't been in there for ages. She knew it was all controlled by her emotions since she wasn't actually from there however her impact should be small. What if Bipin ended up in the spirit-world? He controlled pretty much everything in there. If the sky would go grey, if a storm would show up or if he'd calmly deal with the world. Unless they walked into a spirit-portal they couldn't bend either... she was freaking out. Even her small impact darkened the skies. She felt something on her shoulder and turned around to be pushed away instantly. Ela fell to the ground and hit it a lot harder than intended when she didn't manage to catch herself in time. It hurt and she crawled up into some kind of ball as she got pulled up by the spirit. She recognized her own hands, it was her curse that had come back to haunt her and she got dropped to the ground when she was almost up properly. She looked up and to her surprise her cursed copy had grown a lot... and looked a lot more human-like.
"Get out! You're a disgrace! You're not welcome here!" Ela curled up and looked at her small child-like hands clutched around her knees. "You've failed your people!" The spirit continued in a booming voice as the the forest turned rotten, burned and horrible. Ela tried to rise up but the larger spirit kicked Ela to the ground and Ela fell into a poodle and she saw herself. The waves didn't mess up the picture of the crying child that stared back at her. Ela closed her eyes and when she re-opened them she was in her dark little earth-tent. This time someone was knocking on her "tent" and she couldn't see the sunrays any longer.

The rest of the group where still doing the same thing. Hye was flying around and playing with Pema, which Eis didn't like since she tried to rest on Pema's hedd. Ryuu was still swimming around and playing and Bipin and Herkio was training. It had taken some time before Bipin was able to to something with the water. And some hours later, when the sun started to go down he was able to bend a little water pelar. It was small but a big step. It was much harder to do it than Herkio and Bipin thought from the beginning.
Herkio felt really tired when it was done. It was hard to teach. But it was fun as well. He decided to take some time and relax while they where waiting for Ela and the spirit. He swam out to the middle of the sea, it was a bit away from the shore. He just closed his eyes and float there. He knew he would feel better when the moon came out, but it hadn't done that yet. But it wasn't long until it would be.
"Ela, it's dark now. The spirit will be there soon" Bipin said and knocked on her tent again. Herkio heard that from where he was and was just about to swim back when he felt something around his foot. He wasn't scared at first, he thought it was a fish or a plant. He just tried to swim to the shore when it wouldn't let him swim. He was stuck. "Guys!" he started to say to get their attention when the thing around his foot started to drag him. He was just about to do something, bend or just shout for help when he was dragged under water. He didn't even get time to hold his breath. He looked down an his mouth was wide open with fear. It was the spirit, even he could see it now. It looked like a gigantic octopus in the water. He tried to swim up again and just got his head above the water. "Help! The spirit!" he shouted before being pulled down again. He tried to bend but it's tentacles just wrapped around his arms and hands, making it hard to bend. He tried to get loose as he felt he was getting less and less air.

"Already?" Ela thought confused as Bipin talked. The moon isn't up yet. Ela was shaking as well. She shouldn't have gone back, she shouldn't have and she knew that before she went in. She just wanted to pretend to have the connection again, the connection she so deeply missed. However she made the tent melt into lava as she heard Bipin shout Herkios name.

Trouble.

Ela rose up as she saw the lake glow with the horrid shine of an evil spirit.
"Bipin did you learn any waterbending!?" She asked quickly and Bipin seemed incredibly unsure on what to do.
"I... just... not enough!" He continued and seemed panicked.
"I can't get to him!" Hye screamt from the air, panicked. Ryuu seemed extremely unsure on what to do. With all right. Electrifying a lake was hard and also Herkio was down there to take the blow.
"Bipin! Listen to me!" Ela said and tried her best to stay calm. Bipin was at the shore and turned to her.
"What?" He replied.
"You have to waterbend, do whatever you do to connect to your ancestors or something and take their knowledge!" She said and he shook his head.
"I've never entered the avatar state before!" He replied and the spirit showed... it rose above water like a giant octopus. Ela was shocked, it was huge... however it was moving towards land as Bipin did his best to waterbend. Hye was grabbed out of the air and pulled down just as Bipin managed to get his pillar up properly.
