In which the discourse employs the English tongue

This thread is, in part, constructed in remembrance of an old and noble tradition originating in the long lost memories of Hogwarts.nu and, more recently, Fefo. It is a thread in which one is to converse in English, and English alone.

There shall be no specified topic of discussion, instead it shall be founded on an intrinsic desire to spark interest and curiosity.
I wish for the thread to mimic the shibboleth underlying the quiz show QI:


I devise this thread with the aforementioned limitation of language with the hope of having the participants take their time, reflecting upon what they wish to convey with their messages, in favour of frivolously writing whatever catches their fancy.
